The importance of entrepreneurship to any economy is like that of entrepreneurship in any community. Entrepreneurial activity and the resultant financial gain are always of benefit to a country. If you have entrepreneurial skills then you will recognize a genuine opportunity when you come across one.

Points to be covered in the next class Need for entrepreneurs in Indian fashion world. Problems related to the entrepreneurship in the Indian fashion industry.

Need
The Indian textile industry contributes about 14 per cent to industrial production, 4 per cent to the country's gross domestic product (GDP) and 17 per cent to the countrys export earnings, according to the Annual Report 2009-10 of the Ministry of Textiles. The industry provides direct employment to over 35 million people and is the second largest provider of employment after agriculture.

Entrepreneurship brings great power with great deal of responsibilities, which when clubbed with ethics can actually change the face of the world. Henceforth, it is more fruitful to contribute ones own bit to build a better society by taking charge in hands than sitting at home, reading newspaper or watching television and criticizing politicians for corruption and moaning over The Kalyuga.

Myths
Huge sum of money. Rich backdrops. Banks do not contribute to funding. Very attractive industries. Talents of entrepreneur ensure success. Starting a business is easy.
