PERSONAL OPINION ABOUT A PASSAGE
OF THE NOVEL
my opinion the most representative fragments in the whole novel are tw
ecific days: Tuesday, 29 September 1942 and Thursday, 1 October 1942
hink these two days can be considered as a summary of the main idea o
ne’s diary.

In this second entry, we can
realise the fright that was
present in their daily life. With
the Nazi’s invasion all Jews were

were bombing constantly their
city. They knew that every day a
lot of Jews were taken away from
their houses and they were afraid Jew families being arrested
to be the next.
Because of that fright, people was
really nervous at anytime of the
day and it caused a lot of
arguments and disagreements
which made the life together more
Nazi soldiers patrolling the streets difficult.

CONCLUSION
After having spent a lot of time studying the Second World
War, the Jew’s persecution and Anne’s Frank diary I have
to say that I’m really proud of what I have done.
I think that reading a book like that, which was written by
a real person who really suffered the negative effects of
the Jew persecution.
It is shocking to read Anne’s history and imagine what
would you do in the same situation.
But she doesn’t only talk about politics. She talks about a
difficult daily life and about the fright that most people felt
because of the Germans. She also talks about the difficult
relationship with people who share the same space with
you day after day. But not everything is negative. She also
makes reference to the hope of freedom that everybody
had.
So “The Diary of a Young Girl” is a book that I really
recommend to everybody. Sometimes to comprehend the
world’s history, it is not necessary to study it. It’s
interesting to read a testimony novel like this one.
I have really enjoyed the novel and I would read it again.
COMENIUS PROJECT - EDGAR MARTINEZ
It’s a really nice and tragic story at the BRU same time that I’m
1
sure it will leave no one indifferent.
