Coalition Partners -The NCADP(National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty) is dedicated to abolish the death penalty through the use in holding demonstrations and assisting affiliates in trying to end the death penalty.
Media/Grassroots Strategy
Website: adpas.com (Abolish the Death Penalty for the American People) is dedicated into spreading the message of abolishing the death penalty to the American people and argues that the death penalty is not justified. Organizing a Rally: These rallies to protest for the death penalty and will be able to catch the publics attention.
Opponents -Since the Justice for All organization advocates for the death penalty, this group is a key opponent in the campaigning for abolishing for the death penalty.
Coalition Partners -The ACLU(American Civil Liberties Union) will argue against the death penalty by reasoning that this punishment inherently violates the Constitutional ban on cruel and unusual punishment.
Opponents -A large majority of the Republican party support the death penalty.
Coalition Partners -The CUADP(Citizens United for Alternatives to the Death Penalty) works to abolish the death penalty through campaigns and strategic grassroots activism.
The HR 589 Bill -The HR 589 bill is dedicated into abolishing the death penalty by prohibiting the government to sentence those who have committed a capital offense to be sentence to capital punishment, or the death penalty.

Committee: The Rules Committee of the House sets the rules for debate of HR 589 bill. The Judiciary Committee checks the constitutionality of the bill.
Committee: The Senate Committee on Rules and Administration sets the rules for the bill.
Floor Action: Bill is referred to the Committee as a Whole. For this bill, as teller vote will be used for the voting procedure.
