Introduction
This project is used to reserve the seat for the

passenger in the selected train in Indian railway. It contains two parts 1)the city trains and 2)national trains. It contains information about the different trains. It accepts the input about the passengers details. It contains different concessions for different class of people. Reservation fees also changes for different classes of travel, and for children. It will print the ticket with details.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Due to limited seats in the train it needs to reserved before

travel. Because the passengers are more. So, they can travel peacefully. if Train goes empty, the running cost of the train will be wasted, So, Train will not be cancelled for that particular city. Through this system, the owner of the train, can come to know, where the train is need, how many trains are needed and how many compartments are needed. For reserving the seat for the small group of people is may be possible without the electronic process. But for large population like India and Saudi Arabia , it needs electronic ticketing. It reduces time taken for calculation and print the ticket.

System Objectives
The system should have the details of the trains and its

timings and other details It needs the different calculation of train fare to different cities of different distances and different class of travel, and the different age group and different class of people. It helps the passenger to travel peacefully. Through this system, all passengers are equally treated(no partiality). One Ticket counter used for more trains.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION

This project has developed by taking the model of

Cetral Railways in India It has two parts 1) local train and 2) national train(connects different cities) In local(Metro) train, asks date of travel,it displays the stops and asks route, if it contains different route (of different trains), number of starting station and ending stations , number of passengers (childen or adults) , finally prints the ticket with given details and travel time, distance, fare for adult and children and total charges.

We have to choose the route and places where we start and depart

Print out of the ticket issued

Part II-National Railway

In first screen, if input is given 2 , it selects the

National Highway, it will ask the date of travel, train number by displaying the different trains available to travel and details of that train (like train number, train name, starting city and starting time and ending city and travel ending time) , then prompts for the input, train number should be given as input, it asks for the class by showing the different classes available in the train, then asks for the name and age of passenger, and there are 9 different concessions are given for physically and mentally challenged passengers, old passenger, students, war widows, doctors etc. Then

The list of trains available with their service numbers
