Sindhs Contribution
In 2005-06 Sindh produced 982,035 million cubic feet (MCFT) of gas. Sindh consumed only 461,779 MCFT, which is less than 50% of its production. Hence over 50% of the gas produced by the provinces was used out side the province. In 2005-06 Sindh produced 13.3 million barrels of oil having value about 91 billion rupees.
