Learning Standart : 5.1.1 (c), (d). Able to use nouns correctly and appropriately: (c) singular noun (d) plural nouns Objective(s) : By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to 1. Classify singular and plural through picture and written form. 2. Understand the correct usage of singular and plural form. Teaching Aids : Picture cards, word cards and boxes.

Stage
Pre/ Presentation (Teacher only) 20 minutes

Activities
1. Teacher shows a set of picture showing few types of transport. 2. Teacher divide the board into 2 columns for one and many 3. Teacher will say a car, a train, a motorcycle etc. Then teacher paste the word cards below each picture in the one column 4. Next, teacher shows a set of picture showing the same transport but in plural form. 5. Teacher will say many cars, many bicycle, many boats etc. Then paste the word cards below each picture in the plural column 6. Teacher stresses on the /s/ sound at the end of the nouns to show the difference between singular and plural.

1. Teacher will divide pupils into three groups.

Pupils will grab a picture and paste it on the correct column. 6. Teacher then checks the answer and adds marks according to their answer. 7. Pupils will play the games once again with the word cards.
