PROJECT IN NUTSHELL

To understand the new web site and to be able to get the

requirements from the Human Resource function for the Careers page.
To understand the competitors web site in retail and also

organizations operating in other industries as well to get a proper idea about the careers page.
To get the requirements gathered for the web page and to co-

ordinate with the different teams involved in the web site development.
To be responsible and accountable for the approved

To make sure that the web page for careers is in synchronization

with the main web site in terms of look and feel including the colors and placements of various other factors.
To help the design team understand the requirements and develop

accordingly. To do a knowledge transfer for development team so as to make them properly evaluate the development efforts required (if any).
To make sure that all the approvals and policy decisions regarding

the various facets of the career page are taken before the development takes place. This includes HR function, IT Web page design and SAP backend team.
To make sure the desired results are achieved before the deadline

4) Knowledge of the existing problems faced by applicants will make new page better.

4) Retail not a separate website but a part of the group website i.e. RIL. Threats 1) The existing webpage makes applicants go away from site. 2) The process for application is not cumbersome but there is lack of education about the same which may prompt applicants to go to competitors web site. 3) The web pages being developed are not unique. Can be replicated.

Opportunities 1) There is a scope that more applicants will be coming with some additional features being introduced like Tell Your Friend. 2) The new process eases the applicants way of keeping an eye on retail job offers. 3) The new page will open new horizon to attract talents which are not aware of job offerings through the option of send this job to a friend by the applicant.
