Project Overview
ADSL BHS version 2 is the evolution current ADSL BHS to be used as major ADSL devices in all TEF OBs. The purpose of this RFP is :

Deploy ADSL BHS version 2 as the global common product in ADSL technology for TEF group while
adapting network difference in different OBs in 2012

Aggregate the major volume of all OBs to ADSL BHS version 2 to achieve maxim economy of scale
of TEF group.

Select global vendors for global product

Make sure the smooth transition from current ADSL BHS or traditional ADSL modem to the new
version of ADSL BHS in each OB

End to end project management and centralized global certification process to guarantee the time to
market

Selection Strategy Chipset Diversity

Detailed strategy based on the proposals received from vendors to
guarantee the required diversity of suppliers in chipsets encourage the competition among chipset manufacturers which guarantees all the efforts for the final availability of the equipment and that no changes (at least not agreed changes) in the chipsets once the equipment are in production.

The strategy will assure at least two different Chipset vendors on the awarded equipments
