GROUP PRESENTATION. 1. Compile 5 examples of poetry that would appeal to students. 2. Explain how the samples would help to generate language among children.

A house can be tall, short, wide or thin, with many rooms, or only a few. It can be home for all the family or simply me and my pets.
By using non-grammatical structures, students can play with the language-it allows students to take away the stress of correct punctuation and prose structure.
Allows students to make deeply personal statements in the target language, unrestricted by syntax and grammar.
2. Nursery Rhymes
Baa, baa, black sheep, Have you any wool? Yes sir, yes sir, Three bags full; One for the master, And one for the dame, And one for the little boy Who lives down the lane.
Develop new vocabulary in the English languageincrease their sight words exposure
Expose students to the different intonation in English- how to use tone for different statement
Nursery rhymes play with rhymes and sounds, excellent for teaching phonological awareness, where children can simply play with the sounds of the words.
3. Rhymic poem
Bitter Butter Betty Botter bought some butter, But, she said, this butters bitter: If I put it in my batter, It will make my batter bitter, But a bit of better butter Will make my batter better. So she bought a bit of butter Better than her bitter butter,
The students will be able to recognize rhyming words through poetry. Improve English pronunciation.
