Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. is a Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company. Huawei was founded in 1988 by ex-military officer Ren Zhengfei and formed as a private company owned by its employees. Huawei has over 140,000 employees, around 46% of whom are engaged in research and development (R&D). Their products and solutions have been deployed in over 140 countries, serving more than one third of the world's population.

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT


Huawei from 1994 to and MRP (material requirements Planning) system for enterprise resource allocation, in 1997 Year began using MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning), and from year 2000 they integrated supply chain (ISC Intel-Grated Supply Chain).

The supplier are from Latin America, North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, north Africa, South Africa.
Huawei and suppliers, establish a good strategic partner relationship, a layer of suppliers of levels of management, in a supplier management it have strict standard and system authentication through technology, quality, response, delivery cost, environmental protection, social responsibility 7 aspects of suppliers strictly the authentication.

Through the SCC (Supply Chain Collaboration) system and supplier Supply and demand situation achieves real-time interaction, and to ensure the Supply of stability and timeliness. Due to the reforming in the supply chain, they were able to increase the order on time delivery from 50 % to 99.5%. Supply chain coordination management had made the inventory and order accuracy increased from 96% to 99.5%.
