A planned effort to facilitate the learning of jobrelated knowledge, skills and behavior by employees The focus of companies is moving away from teaching employees specific skills to a broader focus of creating and sharing knowledge Knowledge refers to learning concepts, principles and information, whereas, Skill refers to the ability of using that information and applying it in a context.
