As we know that every country will need a contact and relationship with other countries because actually every country cannot stand alone. They need the others to : make alliances Build a business Stronghold security Spreading the idiology, and etc.

Come from this fact, every nation will have their own foreign policies. The foreign policy will arrange the relationship between one country to other countries. America as being a superpower country surely build many good relationship with other countries and thats why it can be called as superpower country because the power of the country spread all over the world.

The relationship between America and Indonesia have begun since the late of 1940S. At that time, America urged Japan to render freedom to Indonesia. Since that time, the relationship of America in Indonesia become closer and closer. America helps Indonesia in many field until the help change into an intervention in some places.

There are no secret anymore that America gives so many aids to Indonesia. Every parts of Indonesia have been involved by the Aid of America. Whatever the forms are. Kind of helps are :

4. How Indonesian People think about America.

There are always pro and contra about America Aids and also America Interventions. Mostly Indonesian people admire America, especially the youngsters. It is not a secret that if you are an artist in Indonesia, your biggest dreams is that your work can be appreciated in Hollywood or if you are a student you will be very proud if you can enter Harvard or any else of American College. Even go to mcdonalds, Dunkin Donuts, or Pizza hut makes your prestige higher rather than eat in Indonesian restaurant, like Rumah Makan Padang for the example.

But recently, after so many educations are given to widen and open Indonesian peoples mind. Many Indonesian people now realize, especially high educated people, that what America gives to Indonesia will give him another advantage. They wont do the kindness freely, because their ethic say so.

One we must remember that they value many and time so much. So, why should they waste so much money and time for us, Indonesian People if we can give them another advantage that might be more valuable than what they have spent for us.
