In the world that has an enormous potential for conflict, militaries around the world are taking Pattons words very seriously. Our system is the first of several such programs that are looking at revamping the infantry soldiers gear. Our system basically has two modes. One mode is the automatic mode and the other mode is user control mode. Thus our aim is to provide a robotic system that can combat in wars and other military purposes.

In our system we are going to control the robot from remote location in addition to remote monitoring (i.e. User Mode). Our system also has an automatic mode in which it can take its own decision for combating. In addition to this we are also including some of the features like bomb detection, bomb diffusion, fire detection, intruder detection. Thus our system is more reliable to combat the enemy than the existing system.

PIR (Pyro electric Infrared) sensors can detect IR heat radiation (7-20 m typical). They are simple, cheap and common. The basis of security system motion detectors. Most PIR sensors contain two or four sensors with different viewing regions. They detect a change in the difference between the signals and give a binary output.

Simplest light sensor is an LDR (LightDependent Resistor). Optical characteristics close to human eye. Can be used to feed an A/D directly without amplification (one resistor in a voltage divider). Common material is CdS (Cadmium Sulphide)

Many devices can measure temperature. Here we go for Digital Sensor Module DS1822 Available in a very wide range of resistances, with positive or negative resistance change/temp. 1-wire device family includes a thermometer.

It fits right inside most standard motor bodies, to give your robot more power from a tighter space!
