MEANING DEFINITION
Attitude is a persons perspective towards a specified target and a way of saying and doing things. Attitude represents an individual degree of like or dislike for something. Quite often persons and objects or ideas become multi-dimensional and complex.
ATTITUDES ARE EVALUATIVE STATEMENTS EITHER FAVOURABLE OR UNFAVOURABLE CONCERNING OBJECTS, PEOPLE, OR EVENTS. THEY REFLECT HOW ONE FEELS ABOUT SOMETHING.

Providing information to fill in the gap can change attitude. Example: Workers in organisation

USE OF FEAR:Change depends on the degree of fear. Example: Low level of fear arousal can ignore the people to change. As warnings are not strong. Moderate level of fear arousal make people aware about situation and changes the attitude. High level of fear can make people reject the message as it is threatening and thus not believable.
Taking people who are dissatisfied with a situation and getting them involved in improving things. It helps to change the attitude in a positive manner.
5. OTHERS
Individual is more likely to change a privately attitude than one he has stated publicly.
Continued association with others of same attitude, one can be influenced in negative or positive direction.
CONGURENT
CHANGE:
INCONGRUENT CHANGE: Involves in change of direction itself from positive (or negative) attitude towards a person to negative(or positive) attitude towards same person. EXAMPLE: Change in voting for a different political candidate, resigning from an organisation.
HENCE, THE NEED FOR POSITIVE ATTITUDE TOWARD WHATSOEVER WORK ONE DOES.
