There are four skills that pupils should acquire before they begin to learn about language arts: 1. Listening 2. Speaking 3. Reading 4. Writing
WHY?
The pupils need to learn basic skills before they are able to learn about complex concepts and skills such as writing essays, reciting poems and singing nursery rhymes. Building a strong foundation of competencies in basic literary skills, reading through phonics, penmanship, basic listening and speaking.
