Age-range of intended audience: 3rd-5th grade Product goals/objectives: To reinforce the proper use/ identification/ original construction of prepositional phrases in a sentence. To make students aware of how prepositional phrases can easily add detail to a sentence. Abstract: This presentation was created as a way to reinforce the use of prepositions in a students writing. Especially concentrating on the use of the preposition followed by a definite article (i.e. under the box). Students are to first fill in the correct preposition and article into a sentence. Then they are to recognize them in complete sentences. Finally they are to write sentences containing prepositional phrases on their own.
