Curriculum and Instruction


The word curriculum is often associated with instruction, where : Curriculum - the plan or document. Instruction - the method of presenting or implementing the curriculum content or plan. According to Saylor (1981) instruction is the actual engagements of learners with planned learning of opportunities.

Discussion
In the fact of rising crime, youth violence, drugs, teen pregnancy, and other social problems, schools are being blamed for the decline of traditional values. Do you agree with that statement? Should moral and moral behavior be included in the schools curriculum and instruction?
