WHAT IS CSR?

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into a business model. CSR policy functions as a built-in, self-regulating mechanism whereby a business monitors and ensures its active compliance with the spirit of the law, ethical standards, and international norms. The goal of CSR is to embrace responsibility for the company's actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere who may also be considered as stakeholders.

MY VISION AS A NEW HEAD OF CSR

My vision as new CSR is that we have to make efforts to improve the lives of the rural people. The main aim of me is to communicate with my fellow persons & asking their problems & solve it. We should start with other social activities in field of sports, environment, hospitality etc. It would in all help the society in all & help the country in general. Literacy would be my main focus as there are number of children who are unemployed . Second main focus would be employment as number of people are unemployed.

MY PERSONAL PASSION ABOUT CSR TO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a person I am a kind of socialize person & helpful in nature. From the start of my career I had joined number of trusts which help me in gaining the experience this experience I could put forward ahead in my life. I have a passion to communicate with the people , know their behavior constraints which would help me a lot . The goal of CSR is to embrace the responsibility of companys action, encourage the positive impact through activities in the field of environment, employees, consumers, shareholders etc.

FOCUS ON GENERIC IMPACT

Social impact- Number of farmers were trained by the FTCs. This lead to their Social Development. Due to this the literacy rate of people increases in terms of growing crops, using fertilizers & pesticides, purchasing good qualities of seeds etc. Solar lights, Libraries, Clean toilets are constructed by PNB Farmers Welfare Trusts. Economical Impact- Economic conditions in the country improves especially it has great impact on rural areas. Standard of living of farmers also improves to a greater extent . The health of people in the rural areas also improves. Environmental Impact- Due to plantation of trees & plants in the rural areas, the atmosphere in the rural areas has become cooler. The quality of agricultural products has also improved a lot. There is also animal health checkup which is constructed by the trusts.

GENERIC PRINCIPLES

2.

3.

4. 5.

6.

Making difference in the wider society- Starting the trust in the rural areas makes difference to the society as a whole. Accountability- The trust established by PNB is accountable in nature. The trust is responsible for all the actions & the up lift ment of the society. They are the main force for the improvement of the standard of the living. Sharing responsibility- The work in the trust is distributed among its members. It shares the responsibilities & duties among its members. Long term orientation- The trust is Long term orientation in nature . Communication - Communication is good in the trustee. There is good communication between the members in the trustee. Communication should be good in any organization to be successful in the business. Transparency- There is great transparency in the trust.

MODIFICATION IN CSR ACTIVITY

As a CSR head I think CSR activity should be expanded to uplift the life of the people in the rural area. The trustee should get more funds from the government & other private firms for the social cause. The children of rural areas should be provided basic education so that literacy rate increases in this areas & overall literacy rate in the country. The roads in the rural areas should be made permanent in nature & transportation should be improved. The female feticide should not be in the rural areas for the betterment of the nation. We should teach people in the rural areas to save the money for their future & their childrens future.

CURRENT ACHIEVEMENTS

The activities of the Trust have been appreciated by many visiting dignitaries from RBI/Banks, NABARD and State Governments representatives. Activities of FTC Sacha Khera, Neemrana and Vidisha have been covered by Door Darshan & All India Radio. Punjab Farmers Commission has given 2 Happy seeder Machines in Punjab based FTCs namely FTC Shamsher Nagar & Mehraj. These machines are being used for free of cost demonstration among farmers and in their fields. NABARD has recognized the Training capabilities of FTC Sacha Khera and entrusted it with the responsibility of implementing a pilot project on Technology Transfer, Credit counselling and Market Advocacy through 20 Farmers Clubs in Jind District, Haryana.
