SWT 3000 transmits always via both paths (only one direction is shown in this diagram). At the receiving side a failure of the main path is detected and a switch over to the other transmission path is executed automatically

The number of GOOSE commands is 4 for analog and 8 on digital transmission lines. For mixed simultaneous use of GOOSE and binary I/O the total number of commands is shared. GOOSE transmission requires substation planning with IEC 61850 conform tools (e.g. DIGSI) and the parameter download into each device (icd file). Each SWT 3000 can be equipped with one EN 100 module
