The Importance of School Rules

Rules, or a set of laws, are important to an institution because it regulates the conduct and behavior of the people involved in a way that is favorable and beneficial to the institution. Personnel or employees who refuse to adhere to rules are punished, warned, suspended or expelled. Schools are just one of the many 8/29/12 institutions that strictly put into action

Students and employees are to wear their proper uniform from head to toe, including their ID, because it is their proof that they are associated with the school. With proper attire, the students can gain entrance to different buildings and offices with ease. For schools that do not have a uniform, students and employees are expected to wear decent clothes so they are not ridiculed by disrespectful people both inside and outside the institution. 8/29/12 Employees who are not properly

There are also heavier laws that are implemented, like prohibiting students and employees from using any form of narcotics, banning of alcoholic beverages, pornographic materials, and gambling paraphernalia's within the school's premises, and theft. The Importance of Awareness The ability to be attuned to and aware of others is an essential element of the social communication required for healthy development. As your child grows, he becomes more aware of the complexities of others by watching, listening, and forming friendships. He learns about joining with others to form groups, and, in doing so, learns how he is like them and how he is unique. This 8/29/12

How the Brain Stores Interpersonal Experiences When organizing the wide variety of human relationships we develop, the brain uses a set of rules to make this infinitely complex process easier. These rules association and generalization are allowed by the brain's amazing capacity to store experience and create memories. Memory allows us to create our catalogue of interpersonal experiences 8/29/12 good and bad. When we have a new

The Roots of Awareness Awareness arises from and is dependent upon three preceding strengths: attachment, self-regulation, and affiliation. The first memories in your baby's interpersonal catalogue of experiences come from her first relationships with you and her other caregivers. If these are nurturing, your child will associate all of her future interactions in the context of 8/29/12 loving and positive memories the

The Importance of Obeying the Rules and Regulations in the Workplace

From time to time, workers may violate the policies you have established for your business. Even if an employee breaks the rules with the best of intentions, the flow of the workplace can be impacted negatively. When your entire team is working toward the same goal and following the same regulations, it can be easier 8/29/12 for you to fulfill the goals you have for

Following State and Local Laws

Sometimes the rules and regulations you establish in your workplace are necessary so you remain in compliance with the law. If these rules are broken, you may be liable if one of your employees contacts the authorities. For example, the legal advice website No law points out that the Civil Rights Act grants workers the legal right to speak whatever language they like during 8/29/12 break periods. Another employee may

Keeping Workers Safe Many workplace rules are in place to keep workers or customers from hurting themselves. These regulations may be put in place before an incident based upon anticipated threats or after an accident to prevent a reoccurrence of an accident. When your employees follow safety rules, you may see your health-care costs decrease as fewer people visit the hospital. Even better, your 8/29/12 productivity may increase because

Reinforcing Company Credibility

Many businesses rely upon the reputation they have built over years or decades. When an employee violates company policy in a major way, the public may no longer trust the business. Newspapers such as "The New York Times" pride themselves on being accountable and reporting the truth. It is important that employees of these kinds of companies don't hurt the brand by 8/29/12

Students have been into different information drive about the Institution such as the freshmen orientation and departments general assembly to inform their rights and duties as students. In addition, they 8/29/12 are reminded of the things they

Findings revealed that majority of the minor violations were committed by male students with 90.62% as compared to 9.38% for female respondents. The older the age bracket of the respondents, the lesser they commit minor violations. Furthermore, results show that greater number of the respondents who committed minor violation is in the age bracket of seventeen to nineteen years old, followed by 8/29/12 students who are in the age bracket

Another study by Poulsen CH entitled Exposure to Teachers Smoking and Adolescent Smoking Behavior. The objective of the study is to determine whether adolescent smoking behavior is associated with their perceived exposure to teachers or other pupils smoking at school, after adjustment for exposure to smoking at home, in school, and best friends smoking. The subjects are the 1515 grade 9 students (mean age 15.8) 8/29/12 from 90 classes in 48 Danish Schools.

Theoretical Framework

The study anchored to the theory of Social Learning by Albert Bandura which stated human behavior is mostly developed and Learning principles are sufficient to explain the development and maintenance o human behavior. Bandura thinks that human beings are not simply pawns o the environment; they think and regulate their own behavior, to him, 8/29/12 a theory of personality must take an

Further, this study is anchored on Eden Eaglys Social Role Theory, states that the different roles occupied by men and women lead to differences in the perception of women and men and in the behavior of men and women. This theory, further asserts that women show more nurturing behaviors and people received women to be more nurturing because of their constrained social roles to rear 8/29/12 children and take care of homes.

The Self-presentation Theory of Gender argues that gender related behaviors are social performance that varies depending on the setting and social audience. More radical views hold that gender is a cultural invention and a social construction. Lastly, the study employs the theory on Self-awareness, holds that people can focus attention either on themselves or on the external environment. When attention is self 8/29/12

Research Design

The research design that will be use by the researchers in this study is the descriptive, particularly correlational- survey in order to determine the level of awareness and extent of compliance of students to the General Rules and Regulations of St. Therese MTC Colleges, La Fiesta Site. Descriptive design refers to a study that focuses at the present condition, the purpose of which is to find new truth (Calmorin & Calmorin, 1995).
