Me Tangere Protagonist of Noli

commonly called as Ibarra a half-Filipino half-Spaniard who is the only descendant of the wealthy Spanish Don Rafael Ibarra , he studied in Europe for seven years Those years prevented him from knowing what was happening in his country.

to the Philippines, When he had returned

he found that his father had died and that the corpse was (supposedly) moved to a Chinese cemetery(but the body ended up in a river). Ibarra is also Maria Clara's fianc Several sources claim that Ibarra is also Rizal's reflection: both studied in Europe and both persons believe in the same idea

Crisostomo Ibarra in disguise, left for dead at the end of Noli Me Tangere, has resurfaced as the wealthy jeweler, Simoun, sporting a beard, blue-tinted glasses, and a revolver.

Fueled by his mistreatment at the hands of the Spaniards and his fury at Maria Clara's fate, he has since shed his pacifist image and become the titular "filibustero", pretending to side with the upper class and encouraging them to enslave the masses, while in reality siding with the masses and urging them to revolt against the oppressive Spanish regime.

This time, he does not attempt to fight the authorities with knowledge, but by force. He concocts a plot to set off a bomb disguised as a beautiful lamp at a wedding where important members of civil society and the church hierarchy are in attendance.

Unfortunately for him, his plan fails and he commits suicide by taking poison.

Our modern Crisostomo Ibarra is our President Noynoy Aquino because he stands for what he believes and does what he thinks is right and like Ibarra that build a school for the Filipinos in the story of Noli for the Filipinos Ibarra wanted to have a conscious mind in the things that is happening to them, in contrast Noynoy Aquino had developed our educational system like the western countries.

In order for us to have the same learning as the European, Noynoy doesnt wants us to be left behind and be humiliated by the Europeans because we dont have a good educational system.

He also wanted former politicians who are corrupt to pay for what they have done that caused severe poverty to our bloved Philippines For that we really admire his views and works for the development and progress of our country
