AB Telecommunications had a long-standing record with community outreach and philanthropy Jennie Sastre (CEO and President of AB) authorized John Davis (Senior VP of HR) to hire 50 new phone operators of a racial or ethnic minority Sastre received complains from the customers about newly hired operators being rude and incomprehensible Sastre inquired Davis about the issue and got surprised by getting the reply that one of the operators did not even speak English
