INTRODUCTION
CARBON NANOTUBE:
Carbon Nanotubes are hollow cylinders of graphite carbon atoms. These tubes are on the nanoscale , which is so small that 10,000 of them could fit in the width of 1 human hair.
Multi-walled nano tubes consist of multiple layers of graphite rolled in on themselves to form a tube shape.

Some manufacturers are currently using nano-magnetic fluids in shock absorbers to increase vibration control efficiency. Sensors based on nano-layer structures find applications in engine control, airbag, anti-lock brake and electronic stability program systems. Nanotechnology is influencing the auto industry in big scale now and is still developing to deliver features, products and processes that are almost unimaginable today.
