The levees failed, resulting in thousands of deaths, billions in damages, and the displacement of a million US citizens. This event and its aftermath is one of the most appalling campaigns of Racism in history. A decade after the catastrophe, 100,000 black New Orleanians never returned home and income disparity between Whites and blacks has skyrocketed. Former President George W.
