EPISODE 36: START & FINISH YOUR DAY IN A POSITIVE WAY:   Flourishing Friday (FF)-Welcome to Flourishing Fridays, where every Friday we bring you a Positive Psychology based life hack that will help you to flourish… We look at real life application of positive psychology, while giving you different strategies, tips and steps to put Positive Psychology into all areas of your life.    How do we combat the negative thoughts in our mind?Want to prevent negative thoughts from getting to you?    When something's bothering you, you know that getting your mind off of it is easier said than done. This episode offers some wonderful tips to help you FLOURISH!   Start and end your day in a positive way! FInd out how you can help with run away mental chatter.    Explore ways that you could start and end your day that is peaceful. Emiliya talks about methods to down regulate the nervous system. Explore perhaps turning off phones, warm shower, calming tea. Writing down thoughts the keep repeating in your mind. These thoughts are as our mind doesn’t want us to forget. Writing things down is a great hack that will instantly calm the mind. In this episode Emiliya suggests focussing on things that you are grateful for each night. Try to focus thoughts on imagining or visualizing all the things that you are grateful for from the day. Falling asleep to gratitude will help you wake up with a different feeling and calmer mind.
