Jesus died so not only we would not have to die, but we could live the life that we were born to live, that is to live in the embrace of God. The cross is not easy to look at, but God turns your head and mine and says “Look at Him.” It’s time to behold the Lord and to make a decision. That person became rejected so that we might be accepted in the Beloved.
