The Typex investigation - WWII

During WWII the British used the Typex cipher machine for their high level communications. In 1943 German POW's from N.Africa claimed that the Typex was 'broken' by German cryptanalysts. These reports cover the inquiry on the security of Typex. They can be found in the British national archives.
