Alternative and Historical Photographic Process Printing

General manuals, documents and literature relating to alternative and historical photography, including carbon printing, photogravure, cyanotype, albumen prints, salt printing, kallitype, and athenatype (the list goes on!). In addition to the many vaulable 19th and early 20th century literature freely available on the subject, many modern printers working with newer technologies such as digital negatives also are making new strides in alternative processes. Note: Documents specifically relating to Wet/Dry Plate Collodion (i.e. Ambrotypes, Tintypes, Alumitypes, Melainotypes etc) and Platinum/Palladium processes such as the platinotype and ziatype are stored in their own separate collections on my page.
