Medical Information Privacy Rights Violations (HIPAA) Civil Rights lawsuit

All plaintiff (and some defendant) legal documents filed in a pending civil rights lawsuit against Dr. Dean Winslow, M.D., for the unlawful and unauthorized disclosure of the plaintiff's HIV-positive status, who, at the time of the disclosure, was an inmate at the Santa Clara County Department of Correction. Dr. Winslow and jail staff routinely disclose inmates' private medical information, including prescription records, to non-authorized jail staff and other inmates, which exposes his patients to danger.
