INTERACTIVE SIZING INTERFACE FOR ONLINE FAHION INDUSTRY

This report provides a frame work of design solution for online fashion market. Interface has been designed for consumers who want to purchase garments online but feel hesitant due to sizing problems they face in an online fashion retailing system. This report consists of several sections. Methodology section elaborates the interaction design methods used for designing the interface in this project. It also illustrates the literature review of background and problem in this domain. Description of requirement specification and the goal of this project is also part of methodology section. In design process section initial step of design process are discussed. It states how requirement specification are transformed into the initial concept of design and how users are tested and involved in the design process in order to keep focus on user centeredness in design process. Prototyping and sketching user experience are also part of design process in which users are involved in the prototyping process. Several steps of prototyping are discussed. Influence of users in design process can be seen by involving them through different steps. Further more final interface has been discussed in detail in the product section. The functionality is described to understand the outcome of the solution. In infrastructure section basic data to be managed by retailer is discussed and a new grading system concept has been introduced. Complete interactive prototype can be seen in section 4.0. Outcome of the project is discussed at the end of the project report.
