Elements of Process Control Controlled or Measured Variable. The monitored outputs of the process are pulse rate, temperature and blood pressure. Manipulated Variable. Blood pressure. Temperature and heart rate. Set Point. The desired value of the output variable is the vital sign of the patient. Transducer. RF/ data transceiver Sensor. LM3S Temperature Sensor. The LM35 is an integrated circuit sensor that can be used to measure temperature with an electrical output proportional to the temperature (in C). Controller. Microcontroller Actuator. None.

BUILDING ADMINISTRATORS PREPAID POWER CONSUMPTION METER THRU WIRELESS BROADBAND WITH OVERLOAD PROTECTION AND LOAD CONVERSION FOR CALL, TEXT AND INTERNET SERVICES The electrEASYty, Building Administrators Prepaid Power Meter thru Wireless Broadband with Overload Protection and Load Conversion for Call, Text and Internet Services, is a modification of the existing prepaid power meter. The project offers more services other than providing prepaid power such as load conversion for call, text and internet services. It uses wireless broadband for data acquisition and for more reliable power consumption monitoring. It also uses GSM module to provide the call, text and internet services. A webpage and database is provided for references.
Elements of Process Control Controlled or Measured Variable. The monitored output of the process is electricity. Manipulated Variable. Power load. Set Point. The desired value of the output variable is the electricity consumption of the tenants. Transducer. None. Sensor. None. Controller. PIC 16F877A. The 16F877A is one of the most popular PIC microcontrollers and it's easy to see why - it comes in a 40 pin DIP pinout and it has many internal peripherals. Actuator. None.

This wireless monitoring device count breath rate of a person within one minute and determine if the breath rate is normal or abnormal by data acquisition using database system and visual basic program. If the breath rate is abnormal, it will determine if it is bradypnea which has a slow breathing lower than twelve and tachypnea which fast breathing higher than twenty.
Elements of Process Control Controlled or Measured Variable. The monitored output of the process is the breathing. Manipulated Variable. Ailment and preclusion if the breath rate is above or below its normal level. Set Point. The desired value of the output variable is the rate of breath per minute of the patient. Transducer. Pressure sensor. Sensor. Pressure sensor (same with transducer). Controller. Microcontroller and keyboard. Actuator. MCU.
