Unit 8 Assignment Task 1: a) Select a problem domain of your interest to deliver a Management Information System solution. Justify your selection.

b) Prepare a project proposal to be presented to the client. Your project proposal should include the following 1. Overview of the system 2. The specific problem you are going to address 3. Key functionality of the proposed system 4. System development life cycle you are planning to use 5. Project plan and the deliverables c) Write a report on the software tools you are going to use and the platform you the system will be deployed to. Justify your selection with regard to the cost, reliability, performance and ease of use Task 2: a) Produce a use case diagram for the identified solution. Make sure you cove all the functionality with in your systems scope in the case descriptions. b) Produce an activity diagram to show the flow of your system. c) Produce a class diagram which shows the static view of the solution d) Produce a sequence diagram to show the dynamic view of the system e) Produce an Entity-Relation diagram to explain the database design f) Prepare a detailed Software Requirement Specification.
