Mebendazole - HOOKWORM. Triclabendazole is used to treat the following flatworms: sheep liver flukes (fa scioliasis) and giant liver flukes that occasionally infect man. may not work for many smaller flukes - for that use praziquantel or albendazole. praziquantel - *FLUKES. 20 mg/kg 6-8 hours apart for *SCHISTOSOMMIASIS infestat ion. 30 mg/kg 6-8 hours apart for severe infection of schistosomiasis or suspec ted multiple helminths esp. flukes; may retreat praziquantel and albendazole in 14 days. all meds without food for luminal parasites, for tissue parasites add fat to foo d for medication absorption. spray house with johnson and johnson pyrethrin (pyrethroids are better, less tox ic to mammals, more effective, ie allethrin) bug bombs or yard with chlorpyrifo s or diazinon (diazinon better for lungs)
