Continuity Motion
Warrior Continuity Offense
- Guards positions are interchangable - Post positions are interchangable - Offense can start from a box formation, 1-4 high formation or be used as a secondary break
- 1 passes to a wing and then cuts to the ball side corner - Opposite post player steps out for a ball reversal and swings the ball to the other wing

- Once the ball is reversd to 3, 5 sets a shuffle screen for 2 - If 2 does not get the pass from 3, he continues to the ball side short corner - It is important that the shuffle cutter times his cut so - After 5 sets the shuffle screen he flashes to the ball side elbow

- Immediately after setting the signle screen, 4 posts up - 1 takes 1 dribble to the wing to keep a passing angle. 1 does not want to pick up dribble - 3 and 5 set single screens for 2 to cut to they key for a jumper. The perimeter goes first to set the screen and the post cleans up the defender with the second single screen

- 3 pops to the wing and 5 dives to the block - 2 passes to 3 and then down screens for 4 to pop to the high post

- 2 immediately cuts the ball side short corner - 4 steps out for a ball reversal

- The continuity continues with the shuffle cut - 5 flashes to the ball side elbow

- If a defender tries to deny the pass to 3, he should look to back cut

- If he does not get the pass, he pops back out to the wing

- Wings get wide and sprint to free throw line extended - 1 gets inbounds pass and gets the ball up the sideline as fast as possible (with dribble or pass) - 1st post player down gets to ball side block - 2nd post player is the trailer

- If no post up is available, ball is passed back to 1 - 1 dribbles at 2 to push him to the corner and then reverses the ball to the post trailer

- Ball gets passed to the wing - 5 sets a shuffle cut and you are now in your Warrior continuity offense
- 5 steps out for a ball reversal - 4 sets a single screen for 3 to get a jump shot

- 1 can shoot the jumper, curl off of the screen or drive to the basket

- 4 ball fakes the skip to 1 on the flare screen - 4 dribbles at 2 in the corner - If 2's defender sags off he gets a dribble hand-off for a jumper

- If 2 does not have a jump shot, he looks for 1 coming off of a single screen from 5
