Overview The General Ledger (GL) Decision Experts domain enables analysis on key elements of the corporate GL. It provides both summary and detailed analysis related to: > Account Balances: budget vs. actual and year-over-year analysis by chart of accounts and associated hierarchies, account types, accounting period, budgets and budget versions and currencies > Journal Entry: line detail by chart of accounts and associated hierarchies, account types, accounting period, currencies, and journal entry sources and categories As with all Teradata Decision Experts modules, General Ledger is interlinked with other modules to provide a robust analytic environment. With access to Decision Experts cross-subject matter financial data, business users can gain further insight into General Ledger analysis, including reconciliation with and visibility to sub-ledger detail. For example, when linked with other Decision Experts domains, General Ledger enables reconciliation of summary GL expenses to the associated AP Invoice Distributions, and enables reconciliation of summary GL revenue with the associated AR Revenue Distribution details.
