Exploring Becoming Catholic

The Catholic Church uses the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) to welcome and instruct those who are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. This includes non-Catholics considering the Catholic faith, adult Catholics who have received only Baptism (need Eucharist and Confirmation), or those Catholics who have been away from the faith for some time and are seeking to return. RCIA meets Sunday afternoons from 2 to 4 pm and Monday nights from 7 to 9 pm in the St. Anthony Community Center. Participants may attend whichever class is most convenient. Classes for 2012 start the last Sunday in July and continue until about 6 weeks after Easter of the following year, covering about 40 topics. Anyone interested in attending the meetings can contact the RCIA team through the Pastoral Office at 836-0601 or send email to rcia@stanthonycg.org The schedule for the 2012-2013 year is as follows:
