Level 1

Blue Lotus Energy Healing is a new energy channeled in 2003 by Ansara Moldave of PEI, Canada. Ansara is a Reiki Master and Reflexologist practicing in Charlottetown. There are two levels of BLEH and one symbol for each level.

History of the Blue Lotus

The blue lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) belongs to the Nymphaeaceae (Water-Lily) family Many ancient cultures considered the blue lotus to be of esteemed status. In Asia and in Africa, the blue lotus symbolized immortality in recognition of the plant's ability to survive and resprout after long droughts, and the seed's ability to remain viable for many years (Edwards, 1998). In China it was regarded as a religious symbol, and a symbol of feminine beauty. Similarly in India, it was compared with the human female form, and in their legends they believe that Brahma, their creator of the universe, sprang from a lotus-like blossom (Edwards, 1998). The Japanese saw a representation of purity and the juxtaposition of good and evil, and the Buddhist's have a prayer mentioning the lotus, "Omi! Mani padme hum!" which is interpreted as, "Oh!, the jewel in the lotus flower!" (Edwards, 1998). The Greeks also admired the blue lotus. They associated the flowers with the mythical nymphs and beautiful maidens thought to inhabit the forests and mountains (Edwards, 1998). The people of Ancient Egypt (Kemet), used the blue lotus extensively in their art and in their everyday uses. The name (Kemet), which means "the land of the black", is the original name of

Ancient Egypt given by the people who once inhabited the land (Kwesi, 1996). When the blue lotus was used in their artwork it was triangular shaped when viewed from the side. Flowers occur frequently in their art, with the blue lotus and papyrus being the most common. There were also drawings of people smelling the lotus flower, which some believe was used to induce stimulation or a state of utopia (Anonymous, 1999). The idea of the blue lotus flower was also associated with cups and bowls. They usually designed their Chalices and wine glasses as the lotus, which is still in common use today, as the champagne glass (Morenz, 1973). The primary reason for the use of the blue lotus as a symbol by the Ancient Egyptians was because it symbolized the origin of life, According to Watterson (1984), they equated the Creator-god with the blue lotus, which is believed to have emerged at some point in time from the primeval ocean, Nun. Ra their primary god, was believed to have first appeared as a beautiful child floating on a great blue lotus (Watterson, 1984). To the Ancient Egyptians, the blue lotus was the most perfect type of flower. The blue lotus, which had a delightful perfume, suggested to the Ancient Egyptians the perfume of Ra's sweat, the divine essence (Morenz, 1973). The evolution of life was associated with the origin of solid matter. They paralleled biogony with cosmogony. Kemetic religion was a fusion of spirituality and science (Amen, 1997). The Ancient Egyptians used the blue lotus as a symbol of the origin of life, but they also used the shape of the Nile River and its tributaries to symbolize the origin of life also (Kwesi, 1996). The blue lotus is shaped the same as the Nile and its tributaries, when viewed from above. The Ancient Egyptians believe the Nile Valley area is the birthplace of human civilization, which is why the Nile Rivers are shaped like fallopian tubes, symbolizing birth of mankind (Kwesi, 1996). The blue lotus had a variety of meanings and uses. The blue lotus was used in various areas such as: medicine, food, and funerary ceremonies. The Ancient Egyptians have made tonics from the blue lotus for ailments such as liver disease (Morenz, 1973). The blue lotus can also be used to make bread. First, they extract the seeds, then they allow for them to dry in the sun, then they pound them to flour, add milk then bake (Edwards, 1998). The root was also eaten, similar to the cassava, except it was sweet and round and about the size of an apple. Other uses of the blue lotus were for funerary ceremonies. There are several adornments placed within the sarcophagi on the bodies. Some are adorned with gold, amulets of various meanings, flowers including the lotus, and numerous other items (Morenz, 1973). Records from the Ancient Egyptian pyramids show that the flowers were also heaped upon the honored dead and the floral fragrance was thought to dispel the stench of death (Edwards, 1998). The blue lotus had a wide variety of uses and meanings to various cultures. They were used for artistic purposes, for symbols, to make bread, to make perfume, to make medicine and for funerary purposes. The blue lotus has had a profound impact on human society, and human civilization, including: the Ancient Egyptians, the Chinese, the Japanese, the people of India, the Buddhists, the Greeks and numerous other cultures around the world.

Lotuses are symbols of purity and 'spontaneous' generation and hence symbolize divine birth. According to the Lalitavistara, 'the spirit of the best of men is spotless, like the new lotus in the [muddy] water which does not adhere to it', and, according to esoteric Buddhism, the heart of the beings is like an unopened lotus: when the virtues of the Buddha develop therein the lotus blossoms. This is why the Buddha sits on a lotus in bloom. In Tantrism, it is the symbol of the feminine principle. The lotuses are usually differentiated by their colour and grouping, in three or five flowers, which may or may not be combined with leaves.

White lotus
This symbolizes Bodhi, the state of total mental purity and spiritual perfection, and the pacification of our nature. It generally has eight petals corresponding to the Noble Eightfold Path of the Good Law. It is the lotus found at the heart of the Garbhadhatu Mandala, being the womb or embryo of the world. It is characteristic of the esoteric sects, and the lotus of the Buddhas.

Red lotus
This symbolizes the original nature of the heart (hrdaya). It is the lotus of love, compassion, passion, activity and all the qualities of the heart. It is the lotus of Avalokitesvara.

Blue lotus
This is the symbol of the victory of the spirit over the senses, of intelligence and wisdom, of knowledge. It is always represented as a partially opened bud, and (unlike the red lotus) its centre is never seen. It is the lotus of Manjusri, and also one of the attributes of Prajnaparamita, the embodiment of the 'perfection of wisdom'.

Pink lotus
This is the supreme lotus, generally reserved for the highest deity, sometimes confused with the white lotus it is the lotus of the historical Buddha.

Purple lotus
This is the mystic lotus, represented only in images belonging to a few esoteric sects. The flowers may be in full bloom and reveal their heart, or in a bud. They may be supported by a simple stem, a triple stem (symbolizing the three divisions of Garbhadhatu: Vairocana, lotus and vajra), or a quintuple stem (symbolizing the Five Knowledges of Vajradhatu). The eight petals represent the Noble Eightfold Path and the eight principal acolyte deities of the central deity on the mandalas. The flowers may also be depicted presented in a cup or on a tray, as a symbol of homage.

Aromatherapy Properties
The Blue Lotus is connected to the expansion of the higher mind. It eases the spirit out of the body and assists it forward towards its highest potential in the realm of Spirit. It offers one of the highest vibrations of any flower. It is the symbol of the victory of the spirit over the senses, of intelligence and wisdom, of knowledge. As well as stimulating spiritual evolvement it acts as a "booster" to other flower essences by intensifying and spiritualizing their effects. Blue Lotus acts on all levels encouraging a gentle unfolding of the highest potential within the Self. We know today that the blue lotus contains nuciferine, a hypnotic compound known to relax smooth muscle tissue and to have vasodilating, hypotensive, and anti-arrhythmic properties. When the plants crushed seeds or concentrates are mixed with wine, a powerful sexual stimulant is produced.

Blue Lotus Meditation

This is just a sample of how you can meditate on the Lotus blossom for complete relaxation. I am a lotus unfolding... I allow the powerful rays of light from the divine sun to embrace and fill every particle of my body, mind and soul. Every experience I have, no matter how seemingly negative is only food for this unfolding. I enjoy the process of growth knowing all people and experiences contain a blessing if I choose to see it. I see everyone as a lotus unfolding, no matter how closed or covered by mud. Knowing the destiny of all the children of Isis is to awaken to their true Osiris nature. We may be fragmented images now, but she seeks to heal and integrate us again, to our true higher selves, our original divine oneness. I allow all beings to unfold in their own way in their own time without unwanted interference from me. If I am stuck in some negative experience or emotion, I do not deny or judge my natural feelings, nor curse the mud which is also our connection to earth, and the nourishment she offers us. But I focus on the top of my stem which is my spine, on the thousand-petalled lotus floating serenely untouched on the waters of my consciousness. When the energy gets stuck it is time to turn toward the light, the divine light, which the lotus needs to maintain it's balanced existence. From here I can expand my mind to see everything clearly and objectively and make decisions that will be in my own and others' best interests. From here I can see all of my life as sacred, basking in the light and grounded in the earth, I rise above these conflicts gracefully. When I am centered I return happily to dance in the mud, bringing with me the divine illumination and wisdom. I embrace all of my humanity and all of my emotions. But I do not allow the mud to keep the lotus from blossoming. I take responsibility for my own emotions. I do not waste time and energy blaming others. As a lotus sends it's fragrance in all directions, so do I send out my love and blessings to all beings. I realize I may need to withdraw from those who seek to do harm, but I Blue Lotus Energy Healing System Manual Level 1 5

never lose the intent to focus on their higher nature, nor do I withdraw my goodwill, which I seek to keep constant in the face of tempting trials, or hurt, or betrayal. I do not allow others to abuse me or take advantage of my good nature. I forgive and let go. As much for my sake as for the sake of others. I am a lotus unfolding, I am always basking in the blessings of the great goddess, we are all individual petals of the one divine lotus, infinitely blooming forth from Her ecstatic heart. Healing and the Blue Lotus

Healing must occur on all levels. It is not enough to cure one ailment and then consider yourself cured. You must know the causes of illness to keep them from coming back again and again. The root of all dis-eases is the emotions. The emotions control every function of the body. Relax. What is a name that you are most often others call you by? Is it Ansara? Then this is your personal mantra, say it aloud: 10 relax Ansara 9 relax Ansara 8 relax Ansara 7 relax Ansara 6 relax Ansara 5 relax Ansara 4 relax Ansara 3 relax Ansara 2 relax Ansara 1 relax Ansara. Do this and replace Ansara with a name you most often identify with.

Level 1 Teachings
Level 1 teaches you to heal yourself before you can begin to heal others. It is important to work with this symbol for at least 30 days before moving on to the Masters level. There is a great responsibility in healing others, in teaching others to heal themselves. This should not be taken lightly. First is to balance your chakras. If you dont know how this is done there are plenty of books, tapes and internet resources to help you do this. If you are hoping to advance to the Master level you will need to have a working knowledge of the chakras and how to balance them and how to balance others chakras. Level 1 symbol.

To begin a healing session on yourself.

Relax. Find a time and a place where you can have 1 hour of quiet away from distractions as the phone, television or a doorbell. Be sure you have not had anything to eat or drink within the 2 hours prior to beginning.

Next you balance your chakras. You may play music if it will help you quiet yourself. Release all negative emotions. Let go of all hate, all anger, all jealousies, all fears all that brings you unhappiness and stress. Know that for you all is working in Divine right order. See a violet flame starting at your feet and slowly working its way up body and exiting the top of your head where your crown chakra is. This violet flame is washing away all anger, hate, feelings of lack, doubt, jealousy, unhappy memories and any emotions you are dealing with now that bring you stress and unhappiness. (You know what they are) Count backwards from 25 to 1, relaxing each and every muscle in your body. When you are sufficiently calm imagine yourself surrounded by bright white light beaming down from the sun. You can see the light moving outwards from your body to a span of about 4 feet or more. Soon you are totally enclosed in a ball of white bright light that extends outwards at least 4 feet in all directions. Next see the Blue Lotus symbol entering your crown chakra and entering your spine, up and down your spine see the symbol and the bright white light moving. Soon you see it spread to all the cells in your body. If there is a problem area in your body see the Blue Lotus symbol and the bright white light surrounding that area, see a flood of bright white light beaming healing energy to that area and know that healing is taking place. Forgive all you need to forgive, see them in your mind and tell them you forgive them and then set yourself free. Anger, resentment and unwillingness to forgive cause more dis-eases in humans than anything else. Beaming the bright white light with the Blue Lotus symbol to dis-eased parts of your body daily will bring incredible healing results often very quickly. Know that healing will happen, believe that healing will happen. This Blue Lotus Technique also works with a full Usui Reiki session either on yourself or others.

Please respect this healing system and treat it with the dignity in which it is presented to the world. I would rather not see this system on Ebay, or given away on a free Yahoo group without any instruction.
