The StorageTek 8 Gb FC PCI-Express HBA (single port: SG-XPCIE1FC-QF8-Z, SGPCIE1FC-QF8-Z, SG-XPCIE1FC-QF8-N, SG-PCIE1FC-QF8-N, dual port: SGXPCIE2FC-QF8-Z, SG-PCIE2FC-QF8-Z, SG-XPCIE2FC-QF8-N, SG-PCIE2FC-QF8-N) consists of a PCI-Express Small Form Factor HBA. The board interfaces an eight-lane PCI-Express bus, with the eight lanes supporting either one or two Fibre Channel (FC) optical media ports. Each independent FC port operates at 8 Gbit/sec and features 8/4/2 autonegotiation.

Observing ESD and Handling Precautions

Caution Damage to the HBA can occur as the result of careless handling or
electrostatic discharge (ESD). Always handle the HBA with care to avoid damage to electrostatic sensitive components. To minimize the possibility of ESD-related damage, use both a workstation antistatic mat and an ESD wrist strap. You can get an ESD wrist strap from any reputable electronics store. Observe the following precautions to avoid ESD-related problems:

Leave the HBA in its antistatic bag until you are ready to install it in the system.
Always use a properly fitted and grounded wrist strap or other suitable ESD protection when handling the HBA and observe proper ESD grounding
techniques.
Hold the HBA by the edge of the PCB, not the connectors.

Place the HBA on a properly grounded antistatic work surface pad when it is out of its protective antistatic bag.
Installing the Hardware

Follow the procedures in this section to install the hardware:

To Install the HBA

1. Attach an ESD wrist strap (see Observing ESD and Handling Precautions on page 11). 2. Refer to your system installation or service manual to determine an appropriate PCI-Express slot in which to install the HBA. 3. Shut down, power off, and unplug the system, if required. 4. Remove the system case. 5. Remove the blank panel from an empty PCI-Express slot. 6. (Optional) Perform the following steps to replace the PCI bracket.
Note The HBA comes with a low-profile PCI bracket installed. This bracket is
approximately 3.11 in. (7.9 cm) long. A standard mounting bracket, which is approximately 4.75 in. (12.6 cm), is provided with each X-option order. a. Remove the SFP(s), if installed. b. Remove the mounting bracket screws from the HBA (see FIGURE 2-1).

c. Remove the bracket and store it for future use. d. Align the new mounting bracket tabs with the holes in the HBA.
Note Be careful not to push the bracket past the grounding tabs of the transceiver
housing. Ensure that the LEDs are properly aligned with the holes in the bracket. e. Replace the screws that attach the HBA to the bracket. f. Reinstall the SFP(s), if removed in Step a. 7. Insert the HBA into the empty PCI-Express 8-lane slot. 8. Press firmly until the HBA is seated. 9. Secure the mounting bracket of the HBA to the case with the panel screw or clip. 10. Replace the system case and tighten the case screws. The HBA is now installed and you can connect the optical cables.

To Connect the Optical Cable

Note The HBA does not allow normal data transmission on an optical link unless
it is connected to another similar or compatible Fibre Channel product (that is, multimode to multimode). Use multimode fiber-optic cable, intended for short-wave lasers, that adheres to the specifications listed in TABLE 1-1 in HBA Features and Specifications on page 3. 1. Connect the fiber-optic cable to an LC connector on the HBA.

2. Connect the other end of the cable to the FC device. After the optical cable is connected to the HBA, you can power on the system, if required. See your system installationg and service manual for more information.
To Apply Power
1. Verify that the HBA is securely installed in the system. 2. Verify that the correct fiber-optic cable is attached. 3. Refer to your system installation or service manual to determine how to power on the system.

Replacing the SFP+ Unit on the HBA

The Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP+) optics unit on this card is considered a part of the card, NOT as a separate field replaceable unit (FRU). Therefore, in the event that the SFP+ unit malfunctions, you must return the entire card in order to receive a replacement SFP+ unit. Always return any malfunctioning card with the SFP+ unit attached. For information about removing the card from a system in order to return it, see To Remove the HBA on page 24.

Removing the Hardware

The following instructions describe the tasks required to remove the HBA. Refer to your system installation or service manual for detailed HBA removal instructions. The following steps summarize the hardware removal process: 1. Halt the operating system and remove power from the system. 2. Remove the HBA hardware.
To Remove the HBA

1. Use an ESD strap (refer to Observing ESD and Handling Precautions on page 11). 2. Refer to your system documentation to shut down, power off, and unplug the system. 3. Disconnect all cables. 4. Unscrew the case screws and remove the system case. 5. Remove the mounting bracket of the HBA from the system by unscrewing the panel screw or removing the clip, whichever is being used. You can now remove the HBA.

This section describes how to download the fibre channel driver for the HBA.
To Download the Fibre Channel Driver

1. Go to the QLogic support site for Oracle at: http://support.qlogic.com/support/defaultsun_page.asp 2. Locate the table containing the HBA model that you want (SG-model-number). 3. At the bottom of the table, in the Software for row, click Linux. 4. In the Red Hat or SUSE Linux table, find the appropriate driver (the file name is in the format qle256x-vx.yy.zz-dist.tgz). 5. In the Download column of that row, click Download. 6. Save the file to a directory on the hard disk of the computer.
Note Because the driver distribution file is now larger than 1.44 Mb, it cannot fit
on a 1.44 Mb floppy disk; therefore, you must use a USB driver or local hard disk to download the file.

To Build the Fibre Channel Driver

The driver installation makes extensive use of the build.sh script, which is located in driver source (extras/build.sh). From the source code, you can build a qla2xxx.ko module and a qla2xxx_conf.ko module for the host. You can then choose to load the driver manually or automatically, as described in To Load the Newly Built Fibre Channel Driver on page 29. 1. In the directory that contains the source driver file, qla2xxx-x.yy.zzdist.tgz, use the commands shown in the following example.
# tar -xvzf *.tgz # cd qlogic # ./drvrsetup (this extracts the source files directory into the current directory) # cd qla2xxx-x.yy.zz (x.yy indicates the driver version; zz indicates the file extension, which is typically .ko for kernel modules (binaries)).
2. Build and install the driver modules from the source code by executing the build.sh script.

This build script does the following:

Builds the driver .ko files. Copies the .ko files to the appropriate directory: /lib/modules/2.6.../kernel/drivers/scsi/qla2xxx Adds the appropriate directive in the modprobe.conf.local to remove the qla2xxx_conf module when unloading the qla2xxx module. Updates the newly built qla2xxx_conf.ko module with any previously saved data in /etc/qla2xxx.conf.

The HBA drivers included on the VMware distribution are sufficient for supporting the HBA. No further action is required. To verify that the drivers loaded successfully, look for the following lines in the /var/log/vmkernel file:

To Install the Fibre Channel Driver

After installing the HBA and restarting the computer, the Windows OS detects the newly installed device and displays the Found New Hardware with Fibre Channel Controller message. The Found New Hardware wizard launches.
Note This procedure requires a system configured with the latest Service Pack and
Windows Update. 1. On the first screen of the Found New Hardware wizard, click Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended), and then click Next. 2. Browse to the location on the where you downloaded the Fibre Channel driver, then click Next. Windows displays a message, letting you know it found a driver for this device. 3. On the Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard window, click Finish. 4. If the system displays the following message, click Yes to restart the computer:
System Settings Change. Windows has finished installing a new device. The software that supports your device requires that you restart your computer. You must restart your computer before the new settings will take effect. Do you want to restart your computer now?

Linux Driver Issues

If you are using the FC HBA driver for Linux Kernel 2.6x, version 8.02.14 on a system running the RHEL5 OS with the ql2xextended_error_logging module parameter enabled, some softlock detected messages (soft lockup on CPU#0!) might be generated in the system log files. This is a side-effect of debug messages printed. Workaround - None. No operational failures occur as a result of these messages.

Safety Agency Compliance Statements

Read this section before beginning any procedure. The following text provides safety precautions to follow when installing a Oracle product.
Depending on the type of power switch your device has, one of the following symbols may be used: On Applies AC power to the system.
Off Removes AC power from the system.
Safety Precautions
For your protection, observe the following safety precautions when setting up your equipment:
Standby The On/Standby switch is in the standby position.
Follow all cautions and instructions marked on the equipment. Ensure that the voltage and frequency of your power source match the voltage and frequency inscribed on the equipments electrical rating label. Never push objects of any kind through openings in the equipment. Dangerous voltages may be present. Conductive foreign objects could produce a short circuit that could cause fire, electric shock, or damage to your equipment. This product is intended for restricted access whereby access is controlled through the use of a means of security (for example, key, lock, tool, badge access) and personnel authorized for access have been instructed on the reasons for the restrictions and any precautions that need to be taken.
Modifications to Equipment
Do not make mechanical or electrical modifications to the equipment. Oracle is not responsible for regulatory compliance of a modified Oracle product.
Placement of a Oracle Product

Caution Do not block or cover the openings of your Oracle product. Never place a Oracle product near a radiator or heat register. Failure to follow these guidelines can cause overheating and affect the reliability of your Oracle product.

The following symbols may appear in this book: Caution There is a risk of personal injury and equipment damage. Follow the instructions.
SELV Compliance
Safety status of I/O connections comply to SELV requirements.
Power Cord Connection

Caution Oracle products are designed to work with power systems having a grounded neutral (grounded return for DC-powered products). To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not plug Oracle products into any other type of power system. Contact your facilities manager or a qualified electrician if you are not sure what type of power is supplied to your building.
Caution Hot surface. Avoid contact. Surfaces are hot and may cause personal injury if touched.
Caution Hazardous voltages are present. To reduce the risk of electric shock and danger to personal health, follow the instructions.

Caution Not all power cords have the same current ratings. Do not use the power cord provided with your equipment for any other products or use. Household extension cords do not have overload protection and are not meant for use with computer systems. Do not use household extension cords with your Oracle product.
The following caution applies only to devices with a Standby power switch: Caution The power switch of this product functions as a standby type device only. The power cord serves as the primary disconnect device for the system. Be sure to plug the power cord into a grounded power outlet that is nearby the system and is readily accessible. Do not connect the power cord when the power supply has been removed from the system chassis. The following caution applies only to devices with multiple power cords: Caution For products with multiple power cords, all power cords must be disconnected to completely remove power from the system.
Battery Warning
Caution There is danger of explosion if batteries are mishandled or incorrectly replaced. On systems with replaceable batteries, replace only with the same manufacturer and type or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer per the instructions provided in the product service manual. Do not disassemble batteries or attempt to recharge them outside the system. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Dispose of batteries properly in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and local regulations. Note that on Oracle CPU boards, there is a lithium battery molded into the realtime clock. These batteries are not customer replaceable parts.

Energy Storage Module Caution

Caution There is a danger of shock or equipment damage if energy storage modules are mishandled or incorrectly replaced. When replacing the energy storage modules, use only replacement modules that have been provided by Oracle, following the instructions provided in the product service manual. Do not disassemble modules or attempt to recharge them outside of the system. Do not dispose of the modules; instead, return them to Oracle in accordance with Oracle procedures for the product
wiring. Appropriate consideration of equipment nameplate ratings should be used when addressing this concern.
Reliable Earthing Reliable earthing of rack-mounted equipment should be maintained. Particular attention should be given to supply connections other than direct connections to the branch circuit (for example, use of power strips).
Caution Slide/rail mounted equipment must not be used as a shelf or workspace.
System Unit Cover

You must remove the cover of your Oracle computer system unit to add cards, memory, or internal storage devices. Be sure to replace the cover before powering on your computer system. Caution Do not operate Oracle products without the cover in place. Failure to take this precaution may result in personal injury and system damage.
Rack System Warning

The following warnings apply to Racks and Rack Mounted systems. Caution For safety, equipment should always be loaded from the bottom up. That is, install the equipment that will be mounted in the lowest part of the rack first, then the next higher systems, etc.
Rack System Instructions

The following or similar rack-mount instructions are included with the installation instructions:
Elevated Operating Ambient If installed in a closed or multi-unit rack assembly, the operating ambient temperature of the rack environment may be greater than room ambient. Therefore, consideration should be given to installing the equipment in an environment compatible with the maximum ambient temperature (Tma) specified by the manufacturer. Reduced Air Flow Installation of the equipment in a rack should be such that the amount of air flow required for safe operation of the equipment is not compromised. Mechanical Loading Mounting of the equipment in the rack should be such that a hazardous condition is not achieved due to uneven mechanical loading. Circuit Overloading Consideration should be given to the connection of the equipment to the supply circuit and the effect that overloading of the circuits might have on overcurrent protection and supply
Caution To prevent the rack from tipping during equipment installation, the anti-tilt bar on the rack must be deployed.
Caution To prevent extreme operating temperature within the rack insure that the maximum temperature does not exceed the products ambient rated temperatures.

Caution To prevent extreme operating temperatures due to reduced airflow consideration should be made to the amount of air flow that is required for a safe operation of the equipment.

Mise en garde relative aux batteries

Attention Les batteries risquent dexploser en cas de manipulation maladroite ou de remplacement incorrect. Pour les systmes dont les batteries sont remplaables, effectuez les remplacements uniquement selon le modle du fabricant ou un modle quivalent recommand par le fabricant, conformment aux instructions fournies dans le manuel de service du systme. Nessayez en aucun cas de dmonter les batteries, ni de les recharger hors du systme. Ne les jetez pas au feu. Mettez-les au rebut selon les instructions du fabricant et conformment la lgislation locale en vigueur. Notez que sur les cartes processeur de Oracle, une batterie au lithium a t moule dans l'horloge temps rel. Les batteries ne sont pas des pices remplaables par le client.
Attention Ne mettez jamais des produits Oracle sous tension si leur couvercle suprieur n'est pas mis en place. Si vous ne prenez pas ces prcautions, vous risquez de vous blesser ou d'endommager le systme.
Instructions de montage en rack

Les instructions de montage en rack suivantes ou similaires celles-ci sont fournies avec les instructions d'installation :
Temprature ambiante de fonctionnement leve : en
cas d'installation dans un chssis ferm ou contenant plusieurs appareils, la temprature ambiante de fonctionnement au niveau du rack peut tre suprieure la temprature ambiante de la pice. En consquence, il convient de veiller installer le matriel dans un environnement compatible avec la temprature ambiante maximale (Tma), spcifie par le fabricant.
Dbit d'air rduit : l'installation du matriel dans un
rack doit tre effectue de faon ne pas compromettre le dbit d'air ncessaire pour un fonctionnement sr de ce matriel.
Avertissement - Module de stockage dnergie

Attention Si vous manipulez ou remplacez les modules de stockage dnergie incorrectement, vous risquez de les endommager ou de vous exposer un choc lectrique. Remplacez les modules de stockage dnergie uniquement par les modules de remplacement que Oracle fournit, en veillant respecter les instructions indiques dans le manuel dentretien du produit. Ne dmontez pas les modules. Nessayez pas de les recharger hors du systme. Ne jetez pas les modules, mais retournez-les Oracle conformment aux procdures Oracle relatives au produit.
Charge mcanique : le montage de l'quipement en
rack doit tre ralis de manire viter toute situation dangereuse rsultant d'une charge dsquilibre.
Surcharge de circuit : il convient de prendre les prcautions ncessaires pour la connexion du matriel au circuit d'alimentation et de rflchir aux consquences d'une ventuelle surcharge des circuits sur la protection de surintensit et sur le cblage d'alimentation. En l'occurrence, les valeurs nominales de la plaque signaltique du matriel doivent tre prises en compte. Mise la terre fiable : une mise la terre fiable du matriel mont en rack doit tre assure. Une attention toute particulire est requise pour les raccordements d'alimentation autres que ceux effectus directement sur le circuit principal (par exemple, en cas d'utilisation de blocs multiprises).
Couvercle de l'unit
Pour ajouter des cartes, de la mmoire ou des priphriques de stockage internes, vous devez retirer le couvercle de votre systme Oracle. Remettez le couvercle suprieur en place avant de mettre votre systme sous tension.
Attention Lquipement mont sur glissire/rail ne doit servir ni dtagre ni despace de travail.

Mise en garde relative au systme en rack

La mise en garde suivante s'applique aux racks et aux systmes monts en rack. Attention Pour des raisons de scurit, le matriel doit toujours tre charg du bas vers le haut. En d'autres termes, vous devez installer, en premier, le matriel qui doit se trouver dans la partie la plus infrieure du rack, puis installer le matriel sur le niveau suivant, etc.
Avis de conformit des appareils laser

Les produits Oracle qui font appel aux technologies lasers sont conformes aux normes de la classe 1 en la matire.
Attention Afin d'viter que le rack ne penche pendant l'installation du matriel, tirez la barre anti-basculement du rack.
Attention Pour viter des tempratures de fonctionnement extrmes dans le rack, assurez-vous que la temprature maximale ne dpasse pas la fourchette de tempratures ambiantes du produit dtermine par le fabricant.
Priphriques CD et DVD
L'avertissement suivant s'applique aux priphriques CD, DVD et autres priphriques optiques: Attention L'utilisation de contrles et de rglages ou l'application de procdures autres que ceux spcifis dans le prsent document peuvent entraner une exposition des radiations dangereuses.

Sicherheitsvorkehrungen
Treffen Sie zu Ihrem eigenen Schutz bei der Installation des Gerts die folgenden Sicherheitsvorkehrungen:
Wartezustand Der Ein-/Standby-Netzschalter befindet sich in der Standby-Position.
Beachten Sie alle auf den Gerten angebrachten Warnhinweise und Anweisungen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Spannung und Frequenz der Stromversorgung den Nennleistungen auf dem am Gert angebrachten Etikett entsprechen. Fhren Sie niemals Fremdobjekte in die ffnungen am Gert ein. Es knnen gefhrliche Spannungen anliegen. Leitfhige Fremdobjekte knnen einen Kurzschluss verursachen, der einen Brand, Stromschlag oder Gerteschaden herbeifhren kann. Dieses Produkt unterliegt Zugangsbeschrnkungen. Der Zugang wird mithilfe eines Sicherheitsmechanismus kontrolliert (z. Modifikationen des Gerts

SELV-Konformitt
Der Sicherheitsstatus der E/A-Verbindungen entspricht den SELV-Anforderungen.
Anschluss des Netzkabels

Achtung Heie Oberflche. Nicht berhren, da Verletzungsgefahr durch heie Oberflche besteht. Achtung Oracle-Gerte sind fr Stromversorgungssysteme mit einem geerdeten neutralen Leiter (geerdeter Rckleiter bei gleichstrombetriebenen Gerten) ausgelegt. Um die Gefahr von Stromschlgen zu vermeiden, schlieen Sie das Gert niemals an andere Stromversorgungssysteme an. Wenden Sie sich an den zustndigen Gebudeverwalter oder an einen qualifizierten Elektriker, wenn Sie nicht sicher wissen, an welche Art von Stromversorgungssystem Ihr Gebude angeschlossen ist.
Achtung Gefhrliche Spannungen. Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen, um Stromschlge und Verletzungen zu vermeiden. Je nach Netzschaltertyp an Ihrem Gert kann eines der folgenden Symbole verwendet werden: Ein Versorgt das System mit Wechselstrom.
Aus Unterbricht die Wechselstromzufuhr zum Gert.
Achtung Nicht alle Netzkabel verfgen ber die gleichen Nennwerte. Herkmmliche, im Haushalt verwendete Verlngerungskabel besitzen keinen berlastschutz und sind

daher fr Computersysteme nicht geeignet. Verwenden Sie bei Ihrem Oracle-Produkt keine Haushalts-Verlngerungskabel. Die folgende Warnung gilt nur fr Gerte mit StandbyNetzschalter: Achtung Beim Netzschalter dieses Gerts handelt es sich nur um einen Ein/StandbySchalter. Zum vlligen Abtrennen des Systems von der Stromversorgung dient hauptschlich das Netzkabel. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Netzkabel an eine frei zugngliche geerdete Steckdose in der Nhe des Systems angeschlossen ist. Schlieen Sie das Stromkabel nicht an, wenn die Stromversorgung vom Systemchassis entfernt wurde. Die folgende Warnung gilt nur fr Gerte mit mehreren Netzkabeln: Achtung Bei Produkten mit mehreren Netzkabeln mssen alle Netzkabel abgetrennt werden, um das System vllig von der Stromversorgung zu trennen.
Werfen Sie die Batterien nicht ins Feuer. Entsorgen Sie die Batterien entsprechend den Anweisungen des Herstellers und den vor Ort geltenden Vorschriften. CPU-Karten von Oracle verfgen ber eine Echtzeituhr mit integrier-ter Lithiumbatterie. Diese Batterie darf nur von einem qualifizierten Servicetechniker aus-gewechselt werden.
Sicherheitshinweise zum Energiespeichermodul

Achtung Bei unsachgemer Handhabung oder unsachgemem Austausch von Energiespeichermodulen besteht die Gefahr eines Stromschlags oder Gerteschadens. Verwenden Sie beim Austausch von Energiespeichermodulen nur Ersatzmodule, die von Oracle bereitgestellt wurden, und folgen Sie den im Service Manual zum Produkt enthaltenen Anweisungen. Versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall, Module auszubauen oder diese auerhalb des Systems wiederaufzuladen. Entsorgen Sie die Module bitte nicht. Geben Sie sie stattdessen an Oracle gem den Oracle-Verfahren fr das Produkt zurck.
Gehuseabdeckung
Sie mssen die Abdeckung Ihres Oracle-Computersystems entfernen, um Karten, Speicher oder interne Speichergerte hinzuzufgen. Bringen Sie vor dem Einschalten des Systems die Gehuseabdeckung wieder an.
Warnung bezglich Batterien

Achtung Bei unsachgemer Handhabung oder nicht fachgerechtem Austausch der Batterien besteht Explosionsgefahr. Verwenden Sie bei Systemen mit austauschbaren Batterien ausschlielich Ersatzbatterien desselben Typs und Herstellers bzw. einen entsprechenden, vom Hersteller gem den Anweisungen im Service-Handbuch des Produkts empfohlenen Batterietyp. Versuchen Sie nicht, die Batterien auszubauen oder auerhalb des Systems wiederaufzuladen.
Achtung Nehmen Sie Oracle-Gerte nicht ohne Abdeckung in Betrieb. Die Nichtbeachtung dieses Warnhinweises kann Verletzungen oder Gerteschaden zur Folge haben.
Anweisungen zur Rack-Montage

Die folgenden oder hnlichen Anweisungen zur RackMontage wurden in die Installationsanweisungen aufgenommen:

Erhhte Betriebsumgebungstemperatur - Wenn das
Rack in einer geschlossenen Rack-Baugruppe oder in einer Multi-unit-Rack-Baugruppe installiert ist, kann die Betriebsumgebungstemperatur der RackUmgebung hher sein als die Umgebungstemperatur des Raumes. Deshalb sollte bercksichtigt werden, das Gert in einer Umgebung zu installieren, die kompatibel zu der vom Hersteller angegebenen maximalen Umgebungstemperatur (Tma) ist.
Warnungen bezglich in Racks eingebauter Systeme

Die folgenden Warnungen gelten fr Racks und in Racks eingebaute Systeme: Achtung Aus Sicherheitsgrnden sollten smtliche Gerte von unten nach oben in Racks eingebaut werden. Installieren Sie also zuerst die Gerte, die an der untersten Position im Rack eingebaut werden, gefolgt von den Systemen, die an nchsthherer Stelle eingebaut werden, usw.
Reduzierter Luftstrom - Die Installation des Gerts in
einem Rack sollte so erfolgen, dass die Luftstrommenge, die fr den sicheren Betrieb des Gerts erforderlich ist, nicht beeintrchtigt wird.
Mechanische Belastung - Die Montage des Gerts im Rack sollte so erfolgen, dass bei einer ungleichmigen mechanischen Belastung keine gefhrliche Betriebsbedingung entstehen kann. Stromkreisberlastung - Der Anschluss des Gerts an
den Speisestromkreis und die Wirkung, die ein berlasten der Stromkreise auf das berstromschutzGert und die Speisestromkreisverkabelung haben kann, sollten sorgfltig geprft und bercksichtigt werden. Beim Behandeln dieses Aspekts sollten besonders die Lastangaben auf dem Leistungsschild des Gerts sorgfltig geprft werden.
Achtung Verwenden Sie beim Einbau den Kippschutz am Rack, um ein Umkippen zu vermeiden.
Zuverlssige Erdung - Ausrstung, die in Racks montiert ist, muss zuverlssig geerdet sein. Besonders mssen hierbei die Stromanschlussleitungen und weniger die direkten Verbindungen zum Abzweigstromkreis beachtet werden (z. B. durch die Verwendung von Adapterleisten).
Achtung Um extreme Betriebstemperaturen im Rack zu vermeiden, stellen Sie sicher, dass die Maximaltemperatur die Nennleistung der Umgebungstemperatur fr das Produkt nicht berschreitet
Achtung Verwenden Sie Gerte in Steckpltzen bzw. auf Schienen nicht als Regal oder Arbeitsbereich.
Achtung Um extreme Betriebstemperaturen durch verringerte Luftzirkulation zu vermeiden, sollte die fr den sicheren Betrieb des Gerts erforderliche Luftzirkulation eingesetzt werden.
