Audience Classification John Pierre

The socio-economic audience classifiction that my documentary would be targeted at would be people of lower income.

The reason this documentary would target someone of a working class background is due to the current financial state that each the immigrants and the lower income families are limited to. For example when they observe a documentary based on the subject of racism and immigration they'll be more aware of conditions and troubles that are apparent in this financial state such as high unemployment and dissatisfactory living conditions. Often you'll see the documentary maker chose a someone of a working class background for these reasons.

The geo-demographic for a documentary based on racism and immigration would target people based in areas where there is a large influx of immigrants. As they could relate to the issue. One example of an area could be Bradford or Luton where there is a large Asian community.

The psychographic attitudes that surround my topic of racism and immigration may well come across as opinionated. They're often depicted as stereotypical or naive at times. The attitudes that I may well experience could be of a negative prospective as I have a target audience that may experience working class attitudes these mainly built from personal experience or frustration.

attract is one of unique manner. This being they're no cultural boundaries nor is there one based on gender as its based on race and number.

The sexual orientation is not relevant when discussing the topic of racism and immigration. This is based on the fact that everyone can have an opinion on the subject regardless of gender making it a multicultural topic.

Occupation doesnt correspond with the topic as anyone can have an opinion on the topic although the opinions from people based in lowereconomic conditions may well have a biased outlook. This then makes the topic open for debate with all angles of the occupational spectrum. The subject of racism and immigration has quite a broad audience in the way of the educational system as its something that everyone can contribute to. The subject of racism is one that can be seen in political environments and even in the celebrity world making it a accessible topic to all.

The Media preferences that are used to capture content on the subject of racism and immigration are tools that are targeted by the young people of today. The reason for this is because change of technology and tools such as the internet and mobile devices that contain social media help deliver the message instantly. The product preferences of someone who would watch a documentary based on the subject of racism and immigration would be of a more open mined liberal approach for example they're the type of people that read the guardian. They're not going to be the people that sign up for a British Nationalist Party membership or read The Sun

newspaper.
