Take Off Gantry

Which gantry we use to call as Take off gantry? Is it the gantry nearby the Generator Transformer or the Gantry that is outside (or) end of Switchyard. Then gantry and tower?any difference between these two???? Kindly clarify... Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge, a take-off gantry is the one on the substation from which the first of the transmission tower is connected to the line bay. The gantry near the transformer is usually to connect it to the high voltage equipments on the substation.

The tower is the tower and the gantry is the gantry. What more do you want?

Send us some photos of your gantry or tower if you are having trouble discriminating between the two. A gantry is a truss supported by shorter towers and a tower stands alone.... __________________ Difficulty is not an obstacle it is merely an attribute.
