y name is Kenny Sung, and I am a rising Senior at Yongsan International School in Yongsan, Seoul, South Korea. I strive to become a successful Chemical Engineer to design new compounds and technology to broaden and exceed the limitless borders of science. By following the Career Plan, I hope to achieve greatness using it as a guideline for my ultimate goal. University Plans I will be attending a high profile university in California, and major in Chemical Engineering while minoring in Biology to help bolster my knowledge which would result in me having a strong, solid understanding of Engineering. The university will be small to medium sized, and its primary focus will be in Engineering as well as Science. This school will help me evolve into a better thinker that puts me at my most potential. First Employment Before I become employed, I would like to get an internship at a company, whether it is assisting an experienced engineer in specific sectors or observing the process of labs done by professors. I believe experiencing a true experience before to feel accustomed to the real environment would make me feel more comfortable. Since engineering is very technical and requires precision in every part, I strongly believe talking to experienced engineers will allow me to get their full insight on the various fields of Engineering. Jobs & Positions Development After the initial internships and gaining enough insights, the first thing I would do is go for a strong and professional job. Whether its being a Chemist or an Chemical Engineer, I hope that by various job opportunities, I will be finally able to choose between one. During my jobs, I would also spend some time settling down on one of them. Gaining valuable information in each job is key to choosing between them. After that, I would hopefully stand out to some companies, where I would be able to work for them in their Engineering department. company, such as Kia or Hyundai. I would be able to work with other Engineer majors, which will allow me to work with those who share similar interest. I would also like to become a professor in Chemistry or Mathematics, which will help me pass on my knowledges to students. I hope to become a successful professor and become famous for my teachings. When I start to approach retirement, I would like to switch from an engineer to a full-time professor. I would like to leave a legacy for many others to follow that, hard work and dedication is the key ingredients to become a successful engineer.
