To Whom It May Concern Personal Statement Having been brought up in a small poor town named GiaNghia in DakNong province, I have understood deeply how hard the life is in this place. Fortunately, my parents realised that the key for my future was education. In order to give me better opprotunities, they tried to give me the best condition in study, so they decided to purchase for a computer. In hindsight, that was a miletstone of my life because I have been actually keen on computer science. Curiously and interestedly in exploring what is inside this computer has been my passion since then. Naturally, I has chosen HCMC University of Technology, at top of technology university in Vietnam, and my major was Electrical and Electronics Engineering. After four years and a half of strict training and conscientious studies, I firmly believe that I am excellent in dealing with the troubles related to this discipline. By applying for this Master of Engineering Scholarship, sponsored by Intel Vietnam, I assert that it would be a precious opportunity for me to improve my professional objective. Q1:. I have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University Of Technology in Ho Chi Minh City and wishes to further my studies in RMIT and pursue the Masters of Computer Engineering course. As a consequence, this scholarship would be a great deal for me to enhance my knowledge and improve my technical skills. Furthermore, Intel has impressive reputation as the largest global manufacturer of computer chips. I already had chance to visit its workshop when I got the Engineering Scholarship, sponsored by Intel Vietnam in 2011. In my perspective, working in Intel enterprise means similarly studying with professors in challenging environment. In addition, RMIT is a global university of technology and design and Australias largest tertiary institution, it has three campuses in Melbourne (Australia) and two in Vietnam. This university enjoys an international reputation for excellence in practical education and outcomeoriented research. With a lot of diverse faculty, the advanced facilities and stimulating academic environment have made RMIT the best international university to study in Vietnam as well as Australia. I want to travel to Australia to discover this peaceful and high developed country, its people and culture. For all above reasons, it is the suitable time for me to study continuously at RMIT. Q2:

In undergraduated years, I has participated in several social activities to learn soft-skills and knowledge. I have attended BKIT Club, FANLED contest, Relay Season or Guitar Club which gave me real experiences. In my senior year, I got a favourable time to study with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Dinh Chien, who had not only taught me a lot of knowledge but also impacted me with his enthusiasm and devotion. With his instruction, I completed my projects with excellent results. This course provided me not only the opportunity to practice my theoretical understanding but also my orientation into applied technologies. I know that the admission to RMIT is very competitive and challenging. However, I am strongly confident that I am high-qualified and well-prepared for this issue. Studying at HCMC University of Technology, gives me a solid academic foundation in my major. Intelligently and diligently, I received an outstanding records in my course with GPA at the top ten of our department. With my broadening mind and crittical thoughts, I am determined to become a professional engineer in chip industry, who can assist the development and application of this essential technology. Ideally, I am going to pursue Master course after graduation for deeper understanding. After that I would start my professional work at Intel enterprise with its culture of discipline.
