(***) Level of s ound pressure in dB(A) refers to a meas urement taken at a distance of 5m from the unit with a directionality factor of 2 (to obtain the value in open s pac e, subtract 3 dB(A). () The C.O.P. calcul ation in the P, D, T and U versions does not take the elec trical power absorbed by the pump into consideration.
N.B.: he values for external static press ure of the pumps and the pressure drops of the heat exc hangers are obtained from the graphs on page 12 in versions P,D,T,U. The val ues of electrical power c onsumption already take into acc ount the pimps in versions P,D,T,U.

Energy efficiency with partial loads E.S.E.E.R. index
The E.E.R. represents an esti mate of the energy efficienc y of the cooling unit at nominal design conditions. Ac tually, the operating time of a cooling unit at nominal conditions is generally l ess than the operating time at partial load. The E.S.E.E.R. (European Seas onal E.E.R.) index es timates the average s easonal energy efficienc y of the cooling unit in four load and outdoor air temperatur e conditions. In general, two cooling units with the s ame E.E.R. value can have different E.S.E.E.R. values. In fact, for an air cooled cooling unit, the average energy efficienc y depends both on design choices as well as on the temperature of the inlet air at the condensing c oil. The E.S.E.E.R. energy index, introduc ed by the European Community (E.E.C.C.A.C. project - Energy Efficienc y and Certification of Central Air Conditioners), is characterized by the outdoor air temperatures ( s ee tabl e I) and for the weighted energ y values that are assigned to the four l oad conditions consider ed for calcul ation: 100% , 75%, 50% e 25% ,

Data is also c alculated using the Eurovent method. In versions P,D,T ,U, the power c ons umption of the pump is not considered. The high values of energy efficienc y at partial loads were obtained thanks to the opti mization of the heat exc hangers and the variable flow rate compressor.
