Benefit of Internship

W hy Internship : Internship can help students utilize the skills and knowledge they acquired throughput their career. Students may also learn new skills while on the job under the supervision of a m entor. Most companies assign mentors to interns in order for them to develop a better understanding of a projects and skills needed to complete various tasks. This type of environment is especially useful for students who attend universities and colleges that emphasize theory rather than 'hands on' experience because they are able to gain a better sense of what work environment is really like. During internship, students may have the opportunity to work with other employees and interns. By working with others, students are able to make connections with their co-workers. These connections may be beneficial later when they are interviewing and references.

In internship period, students may have the opportunity to work with experience employees. By working with others, students are familiar with live project. It is beneficial later when they are involve with live project.

What I Learn During Internship

01. HyperText Markup Language (HTML): HTML is the main markup language for web pages. HTML elements are the basic building-blocks of webpages. HTML elements form the building blocks of all websites. HTML allows images and objects to be embedded and can be used to create interactive forms. It provides a means to create structured documents by denoting structural semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs, lists, links, quotes and other items. It can embed scripts in languages such as JavaScript which affect the behavior of HTML webpages.

02. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS): CSS is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation semantics (the look and formatting) of a document written in a markup language. Its most common application is to style web pages written in HTML and XHTML, but the language can also be applied to any kind of XML document, including plain XML, SVG and XUL. CSS specifies a priority scheme to determine which style rules apply if more than one rule matches against a particular element. In this so-called cascade, priorities or weights are calculated and assigned to rules, so that the results are predictable.

03. Hypertext Processor (PHP ): PHP is a general-purpose server-side scripting language originally designed for Web development to produce dynamic Web pages. It is one of the first developed server-side scripting languages to be embedded into an HTML source document, rather than calling an external file to process data. Ultimately, the code is interpreted by a Web server with a PHP processor module which generates the resulting Web page. It also has evolved to include a command-line interface capability and can be used in standalone graphical applications. PHP can be deployed on most Web servers and also as a standalone shell on almost every operating system and platform free of charge. A competitor to Microsoft's Active Server Pages (ASP) server-side script engine and similar languages, PHP is installed on more than 20 million Web sites and 1 million Web servers.

04. JavaScript : JavaScript (sometimes abbreviated JS) is a prototype-based scripting language that is dynamic, weakly typed and has first-class functions. It is a multi-paradigm language, supporting object-oriented, imperative, and functional programming styles.

JavaScript's use in applications outside Web pages for example in PDF documents, sitespecific browsers, and desktop widgets is also significant. Newer and faster JavaScript VMs and frameworks built upon them (notably Node.js) have also increased the popularity of JavaScript for server-side web applications

05. Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML): Ajax is a group of interrelated web development techniques used on the client-side to create asynchronous web applications. With Ajax, web applications can send data to, and retrieve data from, a server asynchronously (in the background) without interfering with the display and behavior of the existing page. Data is usually retrieved using the XMLHttpRequest object. Despite the name, the use of XML is not needed (JSON is often used instead), and the requests do not need to be asynchronous

06. jQuery ; jQuery is free, open source software, dual-licensed under the MIT License or the GNU General Public License, Version 2. jQuery's syntax is designed to make it easier to navigate a document, select DOM elements, create animations, handle events, and develop Ajax applications. jQuery also provides capabilities for developers to create plug-ins on top of the JavaScript library. This enables developers to create abstractions for low-level interaction and animation, advanced effects and high-level, theme-able widgets. The modular approach to the jQuery library allows the creation of powerful dynamic web pages and web applications

07. Joomla : Joomla is an award-winning content management system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-ofuse and extensibility, have made Joomla the most popular Web site software available. Best of all, Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone.

08. WordPress: WordPress is a free and open source blogging tool and a dynamic content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL. It has many features including a plugin architecture and a template system. WordPress is used by over 14.7% of Alexa Internet's "top 1 million" websites and as of August 2011 manages 22% of all new websites. WordPress is currently the most popular CMS in use on the Internet.

09.ExtJS : ExtJS is possible to create friendly interfaces to the user with few lines of code. ExtJS is the most advance library to develop applications faster, with a great look and feel, and

with a more flexible architecture. This course is available for both, beginners and advanced users.

10. CodeIgniter: CodeIgniter is a powerful PHP framework with a very small footprint, built for PHP coders who need a simple and elegant toolkit to create full-featured web applications. If you're a developer who lives in the real world of shared hosting accounts and clients with deadlines, and if you're tired of ponderously large and thoroughly undocumented frameworks
