Master of Ceremonies (2) Responsible for... Introducing the event Sorting out children into their rst event Commentating over the events Rotations starting at the same time Updating the scores Presentations Prize Draw Running Events (37) Responsible for... Setting up, explaining, demonstrating and delivering your specic event Encouraging children throughout Keeping the environment safe Keep accurate scores and pass to the runners after each rotation

Marshals (6) Responsible for... Sorting out children into their rst event Making sure group rotate Ensure refreshments/toilet breaks are taken Encourage all of your group Make the experience positive!

Scorers (5) Responsible for... Runners to each event to take scores Adding up scores from each rotation Keeping the live scoreboard up to date Helping out with other roles such as refreshments

Activity Introduction to children, parents and teachers. Children split off into their teams. Warm Up. Taking place on each event station. Event 1 to take place. 6 stations active. Event 2 to take place. 6 stations active. Event 3 to take place. 6 stations active. Event 4 to take place. 6 stations active. Event 5 to take place. 6 stations active. Event 6 to take place. 6 stations active. Event 7 to take place. 6 stations active. Event 8 to take place. 6 stations active. Event 9 to take place. 6 stations active. School Picnic (Organised by the school). Possible student race?? Allows the nal scores to be conrmed!! Presentations to children and thanks to observers. Rafe to also take place. Student v Staff v Children Rounders Match - Involving children who are to be picked up by their parents at 1400.

REFRESHMENTS AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE EVENTS - Remaining time used as dead time.

Warm Up
Takes place before Event 1. Keep children on the move and active (warm up/pulse raiser). Incorporate dynamic stretching and something fun (Dave Says!!). No more than 5 minutes.

Power - Standing Long Jump

Each coloured zone = points. Children get three jumps each. Scores added together to give a team total then scoring is; 1st = 10 points 2nd = 8 points 3rd = 6 points 4th = 4 points 5th = 2 points If too quick... DO IT AGAIN!!

Throw - Foam Javelin

Each coloured zone = points. Children get three throws each. Scores added together to give a team total then scoring is; 1st = 10 points 2nd = 8 points 3rd = 6 points 4th = 4 points 5th = 2 points If too quick... DO IT AGAIN!!

The Events
Game - Robin Hood

Each team in their own pen with additional ball pen. First child from each team (bib in hand) runs to middle, picks up ball and places back in ball pen and so on. When all balls collected game stops. Teams have 3 minutes to take balls from other pens (one at a time only!). Team with most balls = winner. 1st = 10 points 2nd = 8 points 3rd = 6 points 4th = 4 points 5th = 2 points If too quick... DO IT AGAIN!!

Game - Golden Cone

Each team in their own pen with additional cone pole. First child from each team dribbles with a football into the play area, picks up a cone (different colours = different points with one golden cone = 50 points), then puts the cone through their cone pole. Team with most points = winner. 1st = 10 points 2nd = 8 points 3rd = 6 points 4th = 4 points 5th = 2 points If too quick... DO IT AGAIN!!

Obstacle - Obstacle Relay

Each team to make their way through the relay at least twice. Children must focus on getting all three bean bags into their box. 1st = 10 points 2nd = 8 points 3rd = 6 points 4th = 4 points 5th = 2 points If too quick... DO IT AGAIN!!

Target - Olympic Target

Hoops to be arranged into two sets of Olympic Rings. Children get nine throws each. From Practice Day it is suggested that larger rings are closest, with the smaller being further away. Scores added together to give a team total then scoring is; 1st = 10 points 2nd = 8 points 3rd = 6 points 4th = 4 points 5th = 2 points If too quick... DO IT AGAIN!!

Track - Biathlon Relay

Children to complete ALL aspects of this relay before running back to tag in their team mate. Total distance for the relay is 50m. Students to make sure all disciplines are completed correctly and that students are putting equipment back before the next child goes!! 1st = 10 points 2nd = 8 points 3rd = 6 points 4th = 4 points 5th = 2 points If too quick... DO IT AGAIN!!

The Events
Track - Space Hopper Relay

Children to race to the end then back to the start. The event will take place on the grass for health and safety reasons. Students to make sure hopping is completed correctly. 1st = 10 points 2nd = 8 points 3rd = 6 points 4th = 4 points 5th = 2 points If too quick... DO IT AGAIN!!

Scoring System
On the day you will be asked to score each event and pass this score onto a runner who will pass this to a main scorer who records this on the score board. To score each event score cards will be placed on each event. After each event Master of Ceremonies to announce current scores.
