Comp1N Fundamentals of Computer Systems and Application ( Non IT) 3 units None
This is an introductory course to Information Technology as a powerful technology providing us endless possibility. Topics include IT fundamentals, components of IT-computers, history of modern IT, capabilities and limitations of computers, Windows environment and Internet. It also includes MS Office 2010 Applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Windows Movie Maker. VI Course Rationale : This course is intended to present the value of Information Technology as a powerful tool in the completion of our daily tasks.
