Attach additional page, if necessary of the products or artwork you will be offering at the festival. Food vendors must list full menu including drinks. (10x10 Ft ) PLUS: $125.00 Per Open Flame Fire Department Permit (Money Order must be Made payable to the Jersey City Treasurer). $15.00 Board of Health Permit (Money order must be made payable to the Board of Health). ( ) Regular Miscellaneous $175.00 (10x10 Ft ) All merchandise that is forged, counterfeit and/or copyright infringed will be subject to seizure by the Jersey City Police Department, which will be on duty during the entire event. Note: Exhibitors may not over extend 10x10 ft space unless they purchased additional space. ( ) COMPANIES WILL BE BASED ON SPONSORSHIP: $_____________________
13. Be responsible for the safe keeping of its goods and products. 14. All vendors are responsible for the actions of their employees/helpers. 15. No vendor, employee(s)/helper(s) shall engage in illegal gambling or games of chance in or around their vendor space, in or around the festival area. 16. Vendors are not allowed to serve any alcoholic beverages if any kind. If you are caught soliciting or selling alcoholic beverages of any kind, your removal and confiscation of the alcoholic beverages by the Jersey City Police will ensure. 17. No silly string allowed. If you are caught selling or distributing this item, you will be removed from the festival by the JCPD and forfeit your entire fee. 18. Have space cleaned and cleared by Sunday evening, August 5, 2012 at 11:00 PM. Festival shut down will be at 8:00 PM. All garbage bags must be closed and properly removed from area as directed by the Vendor Coordinator. 19. Each Vendor will have adequate public liability insurance coverage and include the Jersey City Puerto Rican Parade, Inc. as an additional insured. 20. Non-Profit / Civic Organization must contact JCPRPARADE, INC. if they plan to sell give / away drinks or anything edible at your space additional permits & fees required Limit one discounted space per organization. Must include a copy of your 501(c) Verification Letter to qualify for this rate. If you intend to solicit donations, please specify in application. Some restrictions may apply. 21. Under no circumstances shall the Jersey City Puerto Rican Parade, Inc. Committee or its members be held responsible for material or monetary losses resulting from inclement weather or any other act of nature.
22. I understand that if I submit a personal or company check and it is returned for any reason, it will be turned over to a collection agency and I understand that I will be charged a $75 returned check fee, check amount and all applicable taxes. LIABILITY
The Jersey City Puerto Rican Parade, Inc. (JCPRPARADE, INC.), together with its affiliated organization, committee members, Volunteers, shall have no liability for damage to property belonging to vendor/exhibitors. Neither JCPRPARADE, INC., the city of Jersey City, and/or its sponsors and/or agents and /or their representatives or any member or employee of the event is responsible for any injury, loss or damage cause by any vendor/exhibitor, his/her employee or property. The Vendor/Exhibitor, upon execution of this contract, expressly releases the foregoing names, parties, individuals and any employees from any and all claims for such loss, damage or injury
