Introducing Our Music Program Staff...

Tod Paul Dorozio (Guitar)


Born in British Columbia, Tod has been playing and composing music for over 20 years. Raised in a musical family, his father continues to perform as a lead singer and rhythm guitarist in both rock and swing bands. Active as a composer, guitarist, and teacher in Toronto, Canada, Tod enjoys spending his summers painting local and rural landscapes throughout Ontario and many of his photos don the covers of his manuscripts. Tod is conducting a Western Canadian recital tour to promote his debut cd: An Uncultured Pearl, released in spring 2011. The cd features Tods own guitar compositions and his works for other solo instruments including: flute, recorder, trumpet, violin, cello and voice. All of the pieces on this c.d. will be through recordings without the aid of cutting and splicing technologies so as to provide the listener with as live a listening experience as possible. Robin Zettel, (Violin, Strings, Intro to music) has been


studying music since the age of nine. She has been teaching music for 10 years to students from ages 6-60 years of age and will be receiving her Bachelors Degree in Music Performance (Viola) from University of Toronto in 2013. Mrs. Zettel has participated in various music festivals as the Scotia Festival, Quartetfest, Southern Ontario Chamber Music Institute, and the North American Viola Institute to name a few. phony Orchestra and has participated in various community orchestras, quartets and chamber groups. Currently she plays with the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Robin has been awarded the Parry Michael Zehr Memorial Scholarship, the E. Alveretta Henderson Award for 'Demonstrated Leadership Qualities' & 'Improved Musical Development, the Walter Homburger Scholarship, and is the two-time recipeint of the Kathleen Parlow Scholarship. at Parkdale Public School. She has participated in the All City Orchestra, All City String Ensemble, and the Toronto Music Camp from 1988-1991.

Danbee Moon, A.R.C.T. (Piano, Intro to music)


has been teaching piano to students ranging from as young as 5 years old to adults for 6 years. She has completed the ARCT diploma in Piano Performance at the Royal Conservatory of Music. She is in her final year of study at the Faculty of Music, as a current major in Piano for the Concurrent Teacher Education Program University of Toronto, where she will be completing both a Bachelor of Music and the Bachelor of Education (Ontarios teaching certification). Her teaching history and music education has also armed Miss Moon with experience in teaching band, strings, vocal and Musical Theatre as well. She was awarded a High Achievement Award for Grade 8, 9 and 10 for RCM examinations, and was also a trophy and scholarship recipient for the Grade 9 RCM examination. She has also participated in numerous music festivals, winning awards, trophies and scholarships.

Marni Levitt (Tots Music & Movement)


Marni Levitt is a Song-Writer, Yoga Teacher and Public School Teacher who is passionate about health and healing for individuals and communities. Marni has experienced the transformative power of yoga, dance, drumming and singing firsthand. She is committed to helping children develop lifelong healthy habits through yoga, movement and music. For the past 20 years, Marni has been performing original songs for diverse audiences. For the past 6 years, she has worked with children in public school, instructing Special Education and Music using a holistic and hands-on approach. Marni has also led and developed extra-curricular programs in West African Drumming and Yoga in school and community settings.
