The 28 theorems of magick - application of the backward path: Instead of starting the commentary from axiom 1 to axiom 28,

this commentary will start backward from axiom 28 to axiom 1. 28. Every man has a right to fulfill his own will without being afraid that it may interfere with that of others; for if he is in his proper path, it is the fault of others if they interfere with him. This is actually first step toward the path of magick. This axiom is the step of fearlessness. One must overcome: The fear of ones willingness to experience and to be responsible for the enjoyment of pleasure The fear of assuming the position of power (success) The fear of approaching toward intelligent 27. Every man should make Magick the keynote of his life. He should learn its laws and live by them. The keynote in this step is the willingness to learn and to focus. Magick is life and life at this stage is the ability to learn so that one can act wisely. Some quote on learning The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing. If you can not learn anything then of course you will not be able to do anything regardless of the attitude you have toward the subject. 26. Every man has a right, the right of self-preservation, to fulfill himself to the utmost. In order to live fearlessly so that one can be free to do one will without the restriction of stupidity, negative emotion and imposed on oneself by other, one must know one right - The inalienable right of the verb TO BE. 25. Every man must do Magick each time that he acts or even thinks, since a thought is an internal act whose influence ultimately affects action, thought it may not do so at the time. To know the relationship between thought and action, one must learn the law of cause and effect as it transition from one plane to another not to confuse the planes to assign thing to its proper plane, and finally to separate the plane from each other. In another word one must learn: the path of lightning through the sepheroths on the tree of life. the sepheroths and its attribute

the 22 paths that separated and connected the sepheroths and finally the three pillards.

24. Every man has an indefeasible right to be what he is. It is not enough to learn about ones right from a text book or through the whispering word of others. There is a difference between the learning of and the having of that indefeasible right to be what one is. To put it in another way in order to start a life one must first have a life One can not live a life of magick without having that indefeasible right to be what one is. Having that right is one of the means of protection from the restriction of others. 23. Magick is the Science of understanding oneself and one's conditions. It is the Art of applying that understanding in action. Axiom 25 is the leaning and arranging things to its proper plane. This axiom is about the arranging of all things from its proper planes in relation to ones condition so that one may know oneself. 22. Every individual is essentially sufficient to himself. But he is unsatisfactory to himself until he has established himself in his right relation with the Universe. To know one self is but a first stage. To know ones path in life in relation to other orbit of stars is the next stage. The last stage is the doing and fulfilling of ones will. Ones right relation with the universe is not to adapt oneself to the will of the universe (society, family or group) but to adapt the universe to ones will so that one may transcend it all together. One must differentiate with care between transcending the universe and controlling the universe. One path leads to the city of the pyramids. The other leads to the abyss of nowhere. 21. There is no limit to the extent of the relations of any man with the Universe in essence; for as soon as man makes himself one with any idea, the means of measurement cease to exist. But his power to utilize that force is limited by his mental power and capacity, and by the circumstances of his human environment. This is an issue of Quality and Quantity. If it is good enough for one purpose then measurement may not be relevant If it is NOT enough for one purpose then the available capacity, power and resource need to be economized so that one may have an acceptable result. 20. Man can only attract and employ the forces for which he is really fitted. In one sense one can not squeeze blood out of turnip.

On the other hand, to quote a sufi sage: New organs of perception come into being as a result of necessity. Therefore increase your necessity so that you may increase your perception. Increase your fitness physically, emotionally, socially and mentally so that you can attract and employ the subtle forces for the impossible successes. 19. Man's sense of himself as separate from, and opposed to, the Universe is a bar to his conducting its currents. It insulates him. The sense of self has its use below the abyss. The idea that one needs to get rid of this sense of self so that one can devote to certain goal may cause an undesirable condition for oneself and other. The sense of self may change from one plane to other planes thus A.C. designed the practice of rising on the planes and the assumption of god-forms in according to the condition and function of that plane. The practice of rising on the plane teaches one the ability of increase and decrease the sense of self. Once again, from axiom 22: the adaptation of one self to the current of the universe is but an early stage of magickal relationship with the universe. 18. He may attract to himself any force of the Universe by making himself a fit receptacle for it, establishing a connection with it, and arranging conditions so that its nature compels it to flow toward him. Once the understanding of self as an insulator to the universal and the specific influences is grasped then the work on the self as a conductor for desirable influence and desirable force may begin. This axiom applies to the formulation of invocation and evocation of appropriate influences on the self. 17. A man may learn to use any force so as to serve any purpose, by taking advantage of the above theorems. When it come to the mater of force one must learn to distinguish: The right from the wrong, The important from the non important, The useful from the useless. 16. The application of any given force affects all the orders of being which exist in the object to which it is applied, whichever of those orders is directly affected. This is a continue of axiom 17. The whole point, according to A.C., is to move at maximum speed with minimum friction so sometime the wrong force can be the most expedient.

One must also be aware that the wrong force may achieve a desirable result one plane but on the other planes that same force is the cause of: one down fall, or the friction and heat in one life. 15. Every force in the Universe is capable of being transformed into any other kind of force by using suitable means. There is thus an inexhaustible supply of any particular kind of force that we may need. What ever you currently have is all the resource you need to expand, to have more and to be happy. The above axioms help one to identify what one has, what is one current condition, who one is and the means to go forward to achieve one goal in life fearlessly. The key is to arrange what you have to its proper planes so that you can be conducive to receive more in such a way that you may realize your true will and the means to achieve it with minimum friction. 14. Man is capable of being, and using, anything which he perceives; for everything that he perceives is in a certain sense a part of his being. He may thus subjugate the whole Universe of which he is conscious to his individual Will. This axiom is a further extrapolation of axiom 23 and 25. One possession (What one currently has) lies in what you can perceive. Sometime what one has and what one perceive can be confused with who one is therefore ones field of perception is the ultimate KABALA that need to be rearrange so that one may move from the normal to the magickal path of discovering ones will. 13. Every man is more or less aware that his individuality comprises several orders of existence, even when he maintains that his subtler principles are merely symptomatic of the changes in his gross vehicle. A similar order may be assumed to extend throughout nature. The chain of cause and effect can multidirectional it can go from: the subtle to the gross or the subtle to the gross, or individual to social and social to individual, or mental to emotional to physical and back to emotional and back to the mental. Who one is is more than the sum of his individuality. Nothing is what it is but what it is may be everything 12. Man is ignorant of the nature of his own being and powers. Even his idea of his limitations is based on experience of the past and every step in his progress extends his empire. There is, therefore, no reason to assign theoretical limits to what he may be, or to what he may do.

Every assumption is a restriction if one hold on to it. Assumption comes and assumption goes therefore let it goes when the time is up. Practice changing your mind about who one is, what is ones condition and so on until the solution to all previous axiom (28 to 13) becomes clear. 11. Science enables us to take advantage of the continuity of Nature by the empirical application of certain principles whose interplay involves different orders of idea, connected with each other in a way beyond our present comprehension. Axiom 25 applied to individual or subjective level. This Axiom applied to nature or objective level. 10. Nature is a continuous phenomenon, thought we do not know in all cases how things are connected. Even when one correctly assigned all things subjectively and objectively to its proper plane and correctly identified how they correlated to ones will as they move through time and space one still know nothing because Also reason is a lie; for there is a factor infinite & unknown; & all their words are skew-wise. This is a hint to a concept of HGA role in the discovery of the true will. 9. A man who is doing his True Will has the inertia of the Universe to assist him. If one knows ones true will and doing it then all previous axiom (28 to 10) will assist one in maximize the use of time and minimize the friction of space. If one does not know ones true will then all previous axiom (28 to 10) will assist one in discovering it. 8. A man whose conscious will is at odds with his True Will is wasting his strength. He cannot hope to influence his environment efficiently. According to the Buddhist, the true nature of existence is suffering and frustration. Existence can be viewed as a problem. One exists because one has a problem. The moment that problem is solved then one will cease to exist. The problem is the discovering of one true wills and doing it. 7. Every man and every woman has a course, depending partly on the self, and partly on the environment which is natural and necessary for each. Anyone who is forced from his own course, either through not understanding himself, or through external opposition, comes into conflict with the order of the Universe, and suffers accordingly. One true will is more than the self and the environment that is why one needs to transcend the self and the universe (see axiom 22, 19 and 14).

Between the true will, the self and the environment, three key words for this axiom is adaptation, control, or transcend. 6. "Every man and every woman is a star." That is to say, every human being is intrinsically an independent individual with his own proper character and proper motion. If every human being is intrinsically an independent individual with his own proper character and proper motion is true then the merging of individual with that of the universe is a fallacy. The attempt of trying to merge the individual with the universal is a form of restriction that caused the true will to be obscured. One must stop identified oneself with one environment and start to discovere who one is and what is the next step. 5. The second requisite of causing any change is the practical ability to set in right motion the necessary forces. The last five axioms (5 to 1) is for those who has discovered their true will and the first step after that is acquiring the practical ability to set in right motion the necessary forces for the fulfillment of the true will. 4. The first requisite for causing any change is thorough qualitative and quantitative understanding of the condition. The second step is that of refinement of the true will qualitatively and quantitatively to a single word. 3. Every failure proves that one or more requirements of the postulate have not been fulfilled. Your true will is but a word - a single word failure and success is but sounds and noise of that word. 2. Every successful act has conformed to the postulate. Behind that word is a postulate unfathomable and known to no one but you and your lord Hadit. 1. Every intentional act is a Magical Act. But of course.
