The errors B upto H don't already cause at first appearance the blocking of inverter instead only after repeated appearance. The errors A and I cause blocking immediately. * These errors cause complete switch off of inverter after corresponding number of appearances . ** Faults of Brake-IGBT bring a complete switch off of inverter if they occur during stillstand for longer time. By that a overheating of brake resistor should be prevent. In case the inverter had been blocked due to errors B upto H it is possible to compensate the inverter blockage by means of Service Tool. Connect the Service Tool and after push of <M> the following error message will display:

Second line: clear? (<Shift> <5>) Push <Shift> <5> simultaneous for about 10 sec to cancel the error. The inverter is ready again. Attention! Before starting the drive again the cause for error have to found and eliminated on the other hand the inverter can be distroyed.
4 Preventive Maintenance
The preventive replacement of spare parts, such as capacitor board, fan and EEPROM, is supported by the Service Tool. Maintenance menu: < M > < 2 > < 8 > Status = 1 Set = 2 1 Shows time of use of the package, capacitor board, fan and EEPROM 2 Allows to change the time of use of the spare parts

After replacing a spare part, the time of use in the maintenance service menu has to be changed.
Caution! These parameters should normally not be changed. These parameters have to be written only if either the capacitor board, fan or EEPROM has been replaced.
Parameters cant be changed when the car is running. <M><2><8> Status = 1 Set = 2 <2> !! SENSITIVE !! !! 6.2 Fan
1. Replace the fan. 2. Press <M><2><8><2><GO ON>... until New Fan Time? appears. 3. If the fan is a new part (never used before) then set Day and Year to zero (press 0 5 times). If the fan is not a new part, then enter the amount of days and years that it has already been running. 4. Press <ENTER>. 5. Press <M><2><8><1> The new used-lifetime of the fan is now shown in the maintenance status menu.
6.3 EEPROM
1. Press <M><2><8><1> 2. Press <GO ON> and note the following values: - Abs Operat Time - Abs No. of Runs - Cap Board in use - Fan in use Replace the EEPROM after switching off. Press <M><2><8><2> Press <GO ON> and enter the noted values (from step 2) into the Service Tool: New System Time? <- Abs Operat Time New No. of Runs? <- Abs No. of Runs (fill in the higher denominations with zeroes) New CB Time? <- Cap Board in use New Fan Time? <- Fan in use (only the number of days and years is required) Press <M><2><8><1>
3. 4. 5.
